I'm with you on this one - Terri was going camping-how funky did you really get in a one day drive? And if you were that concerned about your sanitation how you gona bounce out of the house without even leaving a note?? Or even waking ole boy and saying "look I have to shower, are you coming?" The man may not be drop dead gorgeous like Damon but he treated her well and could see through all those walls she put up-she's so used to being superwoman she's incapable of actually being with a man who wants to be a man. She's was dead wrong for that. I have too many friends with this attitude and then want to know why they don't have a man.

Bird...I'm not for domestic violence but Lem is gona knock her out. Ride or die Bird...and her selfishness is going to cost her this time. I'm assuming they must have actually taped these scenes right after they did Season 4 so Vanessa Williams was still pregnant and that's why they had to write it into the storyline now-they've been doing such a bad job trying to hide her expanding belly-should have turned to nick at nite and watch Cosby..but there is no reason for the charecter to be pregnant yet again.

Thank you. I think that's why I was so hot and bothered over the sex scene because it looked like it was the shiznit! The way he was kissing her neck and stuh. I was like "work that itsh B-Dog" (that's Bird)!

Baby look like he might be able to give Lem a run fo' his money! Not body-wise but just skillz. Also, he looks hella better on the show because of the facial hair. I am a sucka fo' some facial hair all day long!

Not only is it a ring, he's married to kasi Lemmons. She is the writer/dirctor for Eve's Bayou and she has the blonde-ish locs. She was in School Daze waaaay back in the day and was one of the sistahs half-pint was trying to pick up in the dorms. She was also the Black friend of Jody Foster's in Silence of the Lambs. She's a major fiml director/writer who apparently loves animals.

Re Teri & Charles....Teri could have waited one night and woke ol' boy up in the morning before she left. I'm actually glad they don't have a super fine brother to play charles. Let's face it ladies, as much as we would like to believe it, ever brother out there does not look like Damon or Malik. What should matter to Teri, and us all, is how he treats us, is he well rounded, does he have benefits (lol)? I read some of the comments before I watched the show and thought that he had some super rustic cabin with no running water and that he truly expected her to use an outhouse. I would have been just like Teri if that was the case, but it was a beautiful cabin, with a TEMPORARY problem. Relax Teri! Then you sitting looking like boo-boo the fool at the dance lessons. BTW, I can't remember who asked, but yes, he did tell her the name of the movie. I thought it was cute that she rented it.

Max is definately preggers. Pay attention to the scene at the party where she is walking up to Bird getting ready to leave. She has the shawl (did I spell that right? It doesn't look right) in front of her stomach, but she drops it for a second. She definately looks pregnant there! Max is a little touched though. How is she going to go up into her husband's place of business and while he is on an obviously business related call demand "we need to talk now" and then hang up the phone. If Kenny had come to drag her out of the office at 10 p.m. one night when she was flirting with her boss she woulda had a hissy fit!

I don't think Kelvin is bi or gay and I hope they don't write the character that way. The fact of the matter is, like one of the guys on "AFter the Show" (Oprah's show), said, it shouldn't really matter about DL or what ever, it should be about protecting yourself. I don't care if you know 100% that a man is hetro, if he is sleeping around and you are having unprotected sex then HELLO you are at risk.

Oh they should advance Max's pregnancy by about 4 months since I saw her bulge a couple of times last night. You can definitely see it in her face.

Did you all notice when Bird went to Malik's she had a RED bag (placed it on the counter to test the food), but when she got home and took off her shoes, she had a BLACK bag (placed it on the buffet). :o

That was her. I didn't recognize her myself because her hair was straight. She normally has really curly hair, and doesn't look so frumpy.

Well...This is my 2 cents...

1. For something as sacred as a headstone, Max should have told her sisters before she just changed it.

2. Bird...Bird...Bird. She keeps egging this man on because she just kept popping up at his house. Did you see how startled she was when he showed up at her shop?! And Why was she looking over her shoulder when Lem brought the winter hat by the house in the summer?:confused:

3. I don't know about yall, but they should have brought her pregnancy in the storyline last season. I am about tired of her hiding it. It is so obvouisly there.

4. The grave scene. Wow...What yall said!

5. I was CTFU when Amhad said he just had a hard time seeing his parents "doing it" since they "do it" like RABBITS!!!

I too am glad they put the pregnancy in because I was tired of all of the books and folders they made Max carry around. When she was picking up toys and flashed back to a scene with Mama Jo (I wish they would show her more often!) all of a sudden she has a folder in her hand when Kenny comes in! :confused: :confused:

Sigh.....I love Soul Food!
