My supervisor is a Delta Gamma from UC Santa Barbara.
It was extremely nice to have an understanding supervisor the days I had to leave a little early to help out with recruitment! :) |

At my old job, my mgr was a Chi Omega, one of my peers was a Sigma Kappa (both from Iowa State) and there was (for a brief time another Theta (from Drake).
At my current job, I was trained by a Phi Psi, my roommate is also a Theta and there used to be an Alpha Chi Omega in our dept (she recently left). All of them are from Iowa State. We used to make up half of our dept of 8 underwriters. There's also a Kappa from Drake in our Claims department. |
There's a Kappa and a Theta in the Starbucks, a tri-delt or 2 in the bakery, I'm the only active member of a GLO in the deli (my coworker and roommate is an initiated Alpha Phi Omega, but he never did anything beyond their pledge program)
and there are a few ATOs spread out in the store, or used to be. I really dont keep an eye on who's greek anymore. |
New Job, New Set of Greeks

The girl who I replaced, who is now an account exec, is a Delta Zeta.

I am a teacher. Here's the breakdown at our elementary school:
ADPi 2 Southwest Texas(one is me and the other is my old college roommate, I got her the job) DZ 1 somewhere in Texas, not too sure of the school Phi Sig 1 West Florida founder KD 1 somewhere in Kentucky Alpha Phi 1 Washburn ? i think in Kansas, my boss Chi O 1 Southwest Texas Zeta 1 Southwest Texas There may be a few more, but that's all I've found. I was excited to see so many greeks at my school. Sadly, we have several GDI's who just think we are silly. |
When I was pledging, I worked with two Pikes from my school and an SAE from another campus. At my new job, there aren't any greeks other than me in my department. But from what I know, one of my Pike brothers works on another floor, and two Alpha Pi Sigmas work downstairs as well.
|
My boss is a SAI / some woman's sorority whose name I can't remember... (they were local and then went national...but their chapter died out... she graduated from my university, and that chapter was gone by the time I came here) plus she's also lavaliered to FMA...
I work with 3 FMA's.... About two or three Phi Kappa Psi's.... One of my co-workers is an AFW I work with a couple Sigma Pi's as well... Not much sorority representation at my workplace since it's computer repair and we have mainly guys who work there... but there's plenty of fraternity representation. |
I work at Olive Garden and there's a little over 20 of us (Greeks) working there out of a staff of 220ish. :D There may be more I don't know are Greek too b/c it's a brand new restaurant and I'm unsure. :)
-1 Kappa Delta (me) -3 AOPi -2 Phi Tau -1 ADPi -2 KA -3 AKA -2 Delta's -3 are Greek, but I can't remember what NPHC group -1 ChiO -1 APhi -2 Kappa Sig |
One of our lawyers is a DFE triple legacy if I heard her correctly. She pledged at Emory and then transfered to U of Florida.
Her mom and sisters are all Deephers. When she initiated, her mom pinned her with her pin/badge. :) |
I just found out one of our other part-timers is a Chi Omega. We had a fun sorority talk the other day at work. :)

God I haven't been on GC in ages but I'm glad this thread was up on the home page. The place I worked at up until earlier this year had TONS of greeks. I worked with two other Alpha Phis (all from different campuses) an ADPi who's also here on GC (miss ya Jen!) an AOPi, and a Delta Sig; regional mgr was supposedly a Theta Chi (not real sure about that one), Sr VP was a Lamb Chop, company prez was a Theta Chi (which explained soooooo much once I found that one out!:D ). I know there were more including a couple of Chi-O's back east...or were they KD's???? Now I work for a competing co and my newly hired regional mgr is also an AOPi. Having an etched Alpha Phi glass on my desk filled with candy helps start the conversation for sure.
|
Wow! That's a lot of greeks in your workplace!
At my last "corporate" job, my partner was a ZTA, another partner was an APhi, a guy in contracts was in a fraternity at Texas Tech, and the VP was also in a fraternity up north (it's been too long so I don't remember the names of the fraternities...) |
My former boss is an Alpha Gammma Delta, from my school too (she graduated the year before I matriculated though). That came up in my interview!
Right now, out of the 20 people in the program, we have: 1 Tri Delt (ME!!:D ) 2 Delta Gammas (One from Rutgers and another from U Del) 1 Gamma Phi Beta (From U Rochester) I just found out that one guy in my grad program was a greek at Oswego State. We get out of class super late (like 11pm late) and some sorority was probably doing a formal pledging ceremony in the science building. I saw a bunch of girls walk by in white, and immediately said "Must be formal pleding ceremony time." He called me out on being "a sorority girl" and we discussed some frat parties and greek life over after class beer. |
I'm not working right now, but I know that there are at least two other Greeks at my community college. One is a DKE and a girl in my class is in an unnamed sorority. I asked her which GLO she's alum of, but she wouldn't say (she doesn't like me very much). I think she might be Alpha Phi, because I overheard her on the phone talking about visiting "the girls" at a school that she didn't go to that I KNOW has Alpha Phi.

As far as I know there is an AGD and me (ADP). I'm sure there must be more, but I haven't seen anyone other then the two of us wearing letters yet. But I am still new...
|
I did this a long time ago and ironically I was working in the same office, but things have since changed.

GLOs represented in my department that I know of:
APO (2 of us! :D ) DZ Theta Chi KD SDT Delta Phi Mu I am sure there are others. I haven't surveyed everyone. ;) |
My first grade teaching team:
1 ZTA (me) 1 Alpha Phi (NIU) 1 Gamma Phi Beta (ISU) We are a pretty panhellenic bunch!:D |
i am the only one
well, i am the only one at the theater I work at that is a member of a GLO....but I am rushing one of my fellow projectionists for the fall semester and an assistant manager at another theater who will be entering UTC this fall....
i did find out recently that my assistant manager's Mom is a Pi Phi from UTC..... |
Ok, I know it's not work exactly, but my cooperating teacher for my field placement at a local high school is a DDD from the Miami U (of OH).
The other day she asked me if I could attend this "Read Across America" benefit meeting. I casually mentioned that I had a sorority event but I would come early. She stopped mid-sentence and said, "You're in a sorority?" I said yeah. She asked me which one and I told her. She said "My sorority has 3 of the same letter too." She showed me her very nice Tri Delt ring, and said "The best fun I ever had in life". :) |
The new guy @ my office is a Lambda Chi, and I found out the guy I was training with has a Chi-O girlfriend!
|
Well, I work at Applebee's and the employees are mainly college students so there are a lot of greeks. An old general manager was a Lambda Chi, our new GM is a SAE, and there is me a DZ, a DZ alum, GPhiB alum and new member, 2 sigma pi's, 1 pi kapp, 1 sig ep, 1 dg, a kd alum, and then there were many others that dont work there anymore.
|
Unfort my company is all over the US and Canada, but our particular branch is very small, only 10 people work here. I am the only girl so no other sorority girls and only my boss went to college and wasnt in a fraternity. The rest of the people I work with barely made it through high school.
I work for a company as a office manager and my boss is the owner and the rest are technicians so you only need a HS dip to get that job. |
Im a Diamond of Lambda Psi Delta Multi-Cultural Sorority, Inc. One of the Defense attorneys I work for is a Sigma Alpha Epsilon alum and the other chic here is in Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority, Inc. My sorority sister is the one who got the Gamma and I the job here.

At Job # 1 my boss the Senator is a Gamma Phi Beta, and the other guy in the office is a Theta Xi there's a DZ and a KD, Sig Ep, and an AOPi in other offices and a lot more that I probably just don't know about (including Senators) who were in houses too! Nearly all of us are alumni
At Job # 2 (a bar) there are more college age kids. We have a Kappa Alpha Theta, Gamma Phi Beta, 2 Chi O's, an AOPi, Farmhouse, SAE, Pike, Kappa Delta, and then there's me...a Delt. They always say that no matter where you go...there's someone there who's greek...it's true. |
There's probably more greeks in my office but it's not the main topic of conversation around here so these are the only ones I know of:
1 ZTA (me) 1 FKQ from U of Missouri 1 ZBT from Georgia Tech 1 SAE from UCF 1 CF from FIT |
Just found another Greek here! One of the guys I work with is an AGR from UC Davis. So that makes me (ADPi, WSU), AGR, and an AGD from Syracuse I believe.
I'm certain there are more, I just need to find them. :) |
The woman who runs the agency where I'm going to intern is also an AGD.
Has anyone had a supervisor who is from your GLO? |
At my new job there's a DG and an Alpha Phi that I know of. There's also a few members of professional fraternities.

I just started working at Outback in my college town this past week and I'm working a TON of greeks.
I know there's more, but from who I've met thus far: 3 AXiD's, 2 Alpha Phi's, 2 DZ's, 1 Kappa Sig, 1 KA, 2 Delta Chi's, 1 Tri Sigma. |
These are the following GLOs in my workspace:
1) Delta Tau Delta 2) Chi-O 3) ZTA 4) Kappa Sigma 5) SAE 6) Alpha Phi 7) Sig Ep 8) Phi Mu Alpha |
My Manager is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
My 2 co workers are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Our Intern is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. And me, the lovely lady of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Our unit has 8 people, Quite a big percentage. |
I just found out another woman here at work is a KD. :)
|
well, since i work at a university, i should have greeks here!
my direct boss - GPB her boss' boss - SigEp other co-workers - Delta Tau Delta, Sigma Chi, Theta Phi Alpha, Lambda Chi Alpha and i think that's it. I'm still working on hunting them down! |
My boss is a TKE, our art director is a Pi Phi and one our associate editors is a KKG!
ETA: How could I forget? One of our meeting planners is an ADPi!!! :) |
My boss is a Sigma Nu from Mt. Union.
This was especially fun for me because of course Sigma Nu helped guide the founding of Alpha Xi Delta and Mt. Union is where our Gamma Chapter is! FUN!!! What's more interesting is that we actually seem to get along better after that conversation. |
