Trying to recoup from losing wallet Wed (7/2)....the part that sucks the most I w/d from atm and lost over $120 (some of it was bill $$) and whoever found my wallet made 2 charges 2 minutes apart at the same local Unocal sp? gas station that evening.:mad:

After waiting 2.5 hrs at DVM, replacing / cancelling cards, teacher discount card, (and the worst 3 uncashed checks need to be replaced - [2 personal checks, 2 -$20 gift cards all gifts from
MA/Graduation party] and 1 from school dist for reimbursed classroom expenses).

The only thing left now is to get the (4) teacher discount cards replaced & auto gym membership payments to new credit card .I just hate that "naked feeling" (you have almost nothing) you get when victimized; I have still my checkbook but can't write checks to stores w/ temp DL or pay bills online or by phone w/ATM/VISA card UGH....

A note to those reading this:

Consider replacing your combo ATM/VISA card which can be used to purchase gasoline w/o ID etc....That is the next thing I'm going to do even though the bank has already re-ordered a combo card.

One of my creditor's, B of A said the matter has referred to their security division; so I hope the charges will be reversed....

So far no other cards were used before they were cancelled & new ones ordered. I hope to do a phone or online police report Between Sat to Mon. Then I will be notifing the 3 major reporting credit agencies but I think I need a report/case # 1st. I know better than to carry my Soc Sec card b/c with that and DL crooks can easily open accounts in your name if you have splendid credit.

Why do people buy very detailed, beautiful glass for their front door and then put a tacky wreath over it? A few weeks at Christmas is one thing, but the rest of the year , it looks stupid. I'd love see the GLASS!

I hate it when I'm at work and I tell a customer hello and they just walk right on by like no one said anything. I'm sorry but I don't care who the hell a person is, if they say hi to me I'm going to say hi back, just cause I'm a salesman doesn't mean I'm not a person or anything I'm just trying to be polite and i get ignored, that shit gets me so pissed.

I get very irritated when im sitting at work at 8am...(i work on campus) and little freshman girls seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee me wearing letters and they arent small letters im talking cute block letters....and the INSIST on asking me IF im in a sorority...

if it wasnt so early in the morning i wouldn't care...but sometimes i feel like answering..."no i just felt like wearing letters i know nothing about..." or " a sorority??? whats that?!"

I just spent all morning walking all over Chicago O'Hare airport. 4, count 'em, FOUR gate changes. And not nice little "go down to the next gate" changes - I'm talking "walk the whole length of the terminal" gate changes.

At one of these gates, there were three flights scheduled to depart within half an hour of each other from the same gate.

Apparently the laws of space-time do not apply in Chicago... :confused:

I hate my job right now!

I have been with the company over 8 years. I was just informed I wasn't getting a raise. My former boss gave me a nasty annual review before she quit. So the VP had to come down and inform me I was getting squat this year. :mad:

So unfair. When I came on board in this department it was after a 4 month lay off. They told me after I started that I was not getting my seniority back! I used to love this company.

On the upside, I have decided that I hate the corporate environment, so I am applying to a teacher training program for college grads. I can hopefully student teach & get paid next year at the same time! I love business, technology and the theories behind them. I just can't stand being treated as a number or a robot, I am not interested in playing the game.

I did a good job, I have lost benefits, and I am a single mom these things really hurt. And now I don't get an increase? I am done! :mad:

Not enough hours in the day!!

I got NO sleep last night because my husband decided to snore at a volume that would put the Concorde to shame...

and I came in to work to find someone had hacked the production database server and we will probably have to do a complete restore from backups, and by the way, while we're at it, let's upgrade our database server! But will the cheap SOB give me any additional hours to get all this accomplished? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, and don't let your other work fall behind schedule. :mad:

Well..another day in reconfig space limbo. I unplugged my pc Friday before I left work and plugged it in when I got in this morning. Okay....maybe tomorrow I will finally get my new work space!!

Thanks for the props everyone. My VP said I should have a new boss in 3-6 months and I will be able to start over. And I told him what happened with my review, including that it is the worst I have received in eight years. But I was given no comfort. I have just given up putting my heart into the job. As far as I am concerned I am there to answer the phones. Lots of hanging out on GC during work hours nowadays ;).
