For those of you that get up early-what time do you go to bed? I have been going to bed around 10-11 PM when I am off working my overnights and I still cannot get up before 11 AM:( .

Too early - usually between 9-10 pm, but sometimes I climb in the bed by like 8:30, lol.

How the heck do people do that???

I really wish I could change my schedule to do that.

It's easy - just don't really have a life during the week except to get up, go to work, come home, cook dinner, get clothes and child ready for the next day, and start all over again. Then, when you get up at the crack of azz in the morning, see my location.

_Opi_ 02-14-2006 06:33 AM

It's past 5:30 am...I still got about another hour before I fall asleep.

Man, this off semester is really effing with my sleeping pattern. I have about 3 months to fix this before I head out to school :(

I definitely wake up too early and go to bed too late.

I've been up since 4:30am :(

Why am I up?

Scandia 06-07-2006 06:23 AM

I've always had problems with my sleep. I have a hard time falling asleep, wake up too early, and wake up in the middle of the night and have difficulty returning to sleep.

I am very prone to nightmares as well. And night terrors too.

SoCalGirl 10-04-2006 03:40 AM

I'm through being in denial. My name is SoCal and I am an insomniac!

I'm beginning to feel like a vampire because I can only sleep during the day. :( Which really sucks because I'd much rather be spending my day in the sun. :(

James 10-04-2006 03:48 AM

Being awake at midnight doesn't usually qualify as a insomniac lol.

But knowing that I'll continue to be awake for the next three to four hours at a minimum?????

SoCalGirl 10-04-2006 08:03 AM

Anyone want to read me a bedtime story???????? :p

jon1856 10-04-2006 09:42 AM

I tried my best to read all five pages of this rather old thread but just could not do it-was putting me back to sleep;) :D

For those who really have a regular problem with sleep, I would strongly suggest seeing a ENT for a sleep test.

I was having problems for about a year and long story short, had a sleep test, doctors found a medical problem/issue and now I sleep just fine.:D

SoCalGirl 10-04-2006 07:04 PM

So I'm going on 24+ hrs without sleep and am still W I D E awake! I think I scared my roommate when I came bouncing out of my room the momment I heard him up around 630 AM. He knows I am anything but a morning person. Come to think of it, that's when I had some OJ just so I didn't look completely and utterly deranged for hopping out there for the hell of it. That OJ was all I've had today. I was mildly hungry around 2 PM but that passed.

Offer still stands if anyone wants to read me a bedtime story!

I think I'm the only one who's behind you (time-wise). You're still 3 hrs ahead of me...until the last Sunday of this month, anyway! :D

Being in the west is an advantage when you're awake at 4 AM. 'Cause you know the lovely Easterners will be waking up and posting to save you from boredom!

I learned something new this week.

Read the BOB JONES UNIVERSITY thread in its entirety.

It's put me to sleep before 1am twice this week! :D

_Opi_ 10-08-2006 04:39 AM

I really developed a bad pattern of sleeping late this past month. Not cool.

Unregistered- 10-08-2006 04:43 AM

I read the Bob Jones University thread the other night and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep after reading Page Two.

LOL. I'm gonna go check it out for myself.

SoCalGirl 10-19-2006 09:17 AM

So I'm having another one of those nights...well, morning now. Sleep should not be something that I have to fret over.

neosoul 10-19-2006 09:50 AM

just got barely over 4 hrs of sleep... when will the madness end?

whiteandblack 10-19-2006 07:04 PM

turn shower on hot and close the door to allow room to fill with steam. In a small bowl filled with clean stones put a couple drops of lavender (or rose) essential oil. place bowl on floor of shower out of the spray. bring water temp down to a more comfortable level and step in shower.

after reading in bed for not even 20 minutes, I'm out like a light.

epchick 11-08-2006 07:04 AM

So its 3 in the morning, and i've been talking to my dormmates for like 4 hours straight! Seriously, if I had known that it was THAT late, maybe I wouldn't have talked for so long.

At least I don't have class tomorrow. I just want to get my next present from my big....and can I just say how wonderful my big is, even though I don't know who she is yet! lol. (ok, well it is someone from my list, but i just dont who.....but you've all been there, so yeah :D )

sdsuchelle 11-08-2006 07:34 AM

Ugh this sucks, and I have a test tomorrow :(

_Opi_ 11-08-2006 08:20 AM

I'm still up

Stef the Pef 11-10-2006 06:27 AM

Bah.

I'm still up and I can't concentrate enough to do any homework.

So, I guess I'm not doing it? Bah.

epchick 12-01-2006 08:33 AM

Dude seriously, the point in pulling an all nighter is to actually get shit done.

I didn't have anything to do, and I told my friends i'd stick with them and pull an all nighter so they could get their work done...but where the freak are they? One is across the table from me asleep, and the other said she went to get her homework, but she's probably asleep in her bed.

What am I suppose to do now? I'm not tired, and I promised one of my friends i'd wake her up at 6:45 so she could get ready for class...but its only 4:30. What am I suppose to do for 2 hours? Myspace? I can't sleep for 2 hours cause then i'll never wake up!!

AHHHHHHHHHH
