So its okay for Wendy to ask if Whitney and Bobby have "Wild Circus Sex"?

And to admit that she could piture it.

I will admit the whole interview makes for a good comedy album... but I think Wendy bit off more than she could chew on this one.

ClassyLady 02-12-2003 10:26 AM

Wendy: "What's the biggest problem in your marriage?"
Whitney: "You f***in people. You f***ing people talk about me everyday. You don't know me, you ain't never even seen me, but you talk about me. Sometimes those things you say are fighting words. If you want me to meet you outside, I'll meet you outside. But, I'm not going to do that because I'm a lady and I have class."

What?!?!?!?!?!?

What kind of lady with class curses every other word on a radio show? Whitney was cursing at Wendy one minute and then laughing and saying "I love you" the next. The worst part to me was when she said "Jesus is always in my house" and was cursing Wendy two seconds later. I think she was high during this interview.

Shoot, lately I think she is high at every interview:(

ok I've clicked on the links trying to find this interview but I've had no such luck. Any new sites where I can find it that means hear it or read it (transcript)

I just can't believe Whit cut up like that!!!!!!

AKA2D '91 09-29-2003 10:00 AM

Did anyone see it?

Steeltrap 09-29-2003 11:48 AM

Whitless & Co.

I saw parts of it before I switched back to Sunday night football, with Edgerrin "Gold Tooth" James & Co. Whitless doesn't look good, Booby looks/acts like a mo-ron and Bobbi Kristina is chunky.

thesweetestone 10-01-2003 12:20 AM

I watched the whole thing. She was so beautiful in some of the pics and interviews from back in the day. I think she really needs to let Bobby go back to wherever the hell he came from.

NOWorNEVER 10-03-2003 09:40 AM

I think the whole thing was a circus and that it was for publicity...the African garments, the being baptized, the singing to herself, not shaking that guys hand, Bobby breaking down... Whitney is definitely cracked out.

Ahh Suki Suki....Say it ain't so

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Singer Bobby Brown was charged with battery Wednesday after a weekend altercation with his wife, singer Whitney Houston, in which he allegedly threatened to "beat her ass," authorities said.

Brown appeared with his lawyer before a judge Wednesday afternoon after meeting with detectives and a court solicitor, said Fulton County Police Cpl. Kurtis Young.

He was charged with one count of battery under Georgia's domestic violence law and released. He must return to North Fulton Magistrate Court to answer the charge January 7, according to Fulton County Police.

Video from a local news station showed Houston and Brown at the court appearance, Houston with a visible bruise on her left cheek. The couple kissed and held each other as they entered the county building.

"We're still together," Houston told reporters as the couple left the court house with their arms around each other.

As they drove away, the song "You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman)" blared on the stereo as Houston sang along and Brown kissed her bruised cheek.

Under Georgia's domestic violence law, the state automatically files charges when domestic violence is suspected by law enforcement officials.

The alleged victim has no say in whether charges are filed, but can choose to cooperate with the investigation or not, Young said.

Nancy Seltzer, Houston's publicist, issued a statement Wednesday she said came from a family spokesman.

"Bobby Brown is very apologetic about what happened and hopes his wife forgives him," the statement said.

Police were called to Brown and Houston's home at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.

"Upon arrival, officers spoke with Ms. Houston, who said Brown confronted her and stated he was going to 'beat her ass.' Shortly thereafter, Mr. Brown struck her with an open right hand, according to Ms. Houston's statement to police," said a police news release.

Police said Houston had visible injuries to her face, including a bruise on her left cheek and a cut inside her upper lip.

Brown was not there when police arrived. Brown said he was headed to the airport for a flight to Los Angeles, California, police said.

In January, Brown served an eight-day sentence in the DeKalb County, Georgia, jail after he pleaded guilty to a 1996 drunken driving charge and a count of speeding.

Ooooooh, No he di'ent!!!! An open hand to the face!! Whitney is officially Cracked Out!

See, let that ever happen to me. You will see the news in the morning reading "ClassyLady last night after she put her foot dead up some trifling man's behind. Police report that they had to manually remove her foot from the man's derriere after she was restrained in handcuffs."

I love my man...

In the timeless word of Ms. Sophia in The Color Purple: "I loves Harpo. God knows I do. BUT I'LL KILL HIM DEAD before I let him beat me...

You got me stuck. I told my man and I'm telling ya'll: If my man ever hits me, he may as well finish the job. Because it may not be that same day, it may not be that same week, hell, it may not even be that same month,... but I'm gonna get his azz. And after I get his azz, he will NEVER raise his hand to another woman again...

And,... SCENE! I'm back! I'm back, ya'll!

Whew! I had a moment! *wiping my brow* I lose it when I think about men hitting on women. Pardon me!

She has BWS. I don't know that this has anything to do with her drug usage, I honestly don't. I think that this same thing would happen if she was sober. She talked A LOT of mess about her marriage lasting and all that jazz. So I think that she'd stay with him in sobriety just to save face.

This type of isht pisses me off, it really does. Cuz my thing is this: if you gon' stay with him, WHY YOU CALL THE POLICE IN THE FIRST PLACE???????????? Let him beat yo' @$$ in private, then ain't nobody got to know. But this type of sick, crazy isht... *smh* You tellin' him that he makes you feel like a natural woman?? And THEN she let that mofo kiss her ON HER BRUISE???? WTF are we dealin' with here?

I feel sorry for BK. She gon' be readin' the same books I'm readin' now when she grow up. Only difference, she can't keep her dysfunctional family a secret. Too sad, too sad indeed. :(

OK, domestic violence is not funny...but my Soror is! CTFU

If you all recall, Whitney, when asked a while ago, stated that Bobby does not hit her but that she is the one who does the hitting. . .I guess this is a reverse Ike and Tina.

Re: I love my man...

Amen sisterfriend! I grew up seeing my moms get the isht beaten outta her by "her second husband" (NOT my father).

I vowed to myself that NO man would evah hit me!
My husband KNOWS that if he even THOUGHT about hitting me, he would be one dead MO-FO. I would kill him and then leave his azz!

Uh Whitney, I think you need to listen to the song "Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks (Yes, take my Soul Card!) :D This woman did what she had to do:
Mary Anne and Wanda were the best of friends
All through thier high school days
Both members of the 4H club
Both active in the FFA
After graduation Mary Anne went out lookin'
for a bright new world
Wanda looked all around this town
And all she found was Earl

Well it wasn't two weeks
After she got married that
Wanda started gettin' abused
She put on dark glasses and long sleeved blouses
And make up to cover a bruise
Well she finally got the nerve to file for divorce
She let the law take it from there
But Earl walked right through that restraining order
And put her in intensive care
Right away Mary Anne flew in from Atlanta
On a red eye midnight flight
She held Wanda's hand as they
Worked out a plan
And it didn't take 'em long to decide
That Earl had to die

Goodbye Earl
Those black-eyed peas
They tasted all right to me Earl
You're feelin' weak
Why don't you lay down
And sleep Earl
Ain't it dark
Wrapped up in that tarp Earl

The cops came by to bring Earl in They searched the house
High and low
Then they tipped thier hats
And said "thank you ladies if you hear from him let us know"
Well the weeks went by and
Spring turned to Summer
And Summer faded into Fall
And it turns out he was a missing person
Who nobody missed at all
So the girls bought some land
And a roadside stand
Out on Highway 109
They sell Tennessee ham
And strawberry jam
And they don't
Lose any sleep at night 'cause
Earl had to die

Goodbye Earl
We need a break
Let's go out to the lake Earl
We'll pack a lunch
And stuff you in the trunk Earl
Well is that all right
Good Let's go for a ride
Earl Hey

They played her 911 call on Good Morning America too.
Whitney needs an intervention...for real. Her daughter should not be growing up around that mess. Before you know it, she'll be the next Nicole Ritchie. :o

Nicole Ritchie....that would be a complement. Bobbi Kris will grow up like Liza Minelli who can't get a man or keep one. She's known more for her mother. Gee I forgot that lady's name. No it's Judy Garland.

Have anyone heard or bought her Christmas album Whitney's that is. How is it doing? It must sucked and the only reason she did it is for some additional Christmas $$$.

Whitney Houston Enters Drug Rehab Center
Tue Mar 16, 3:21 AM ET

LOS ANGELES - Grammy-winning pop singer Whitney Houston (news) has entered a drug rehabilitation facility, her publicist said.

Reuters
Slideshow: Whitney Houston

Houston "thanks everyone for their support and prayers," publicist Nancy Seltzer said in a statement Monday. She declined to offer any further details.

Houston, 40, admitted in a December 2002 television that she had abused drugs in the past, but told interviewer Diane Sawyer on ABC's "Primetime" that she had gotten beyond that time through prayer.

Houston's husband, R&B singer Bobby Brown (news), was sentenced to 60 days in jail in late February for violating probation. One of the violations included a December misdemeanor battery charge for allegedly striking Houston, leaving her with a bruised cheek and a cut inside her lip.

In January 2000, Houston left behind a bag at Keahole Kona International Airport in Hawaii that allegedly held less than half an ounce of marijuana and three partially smoked marijuana cigarettes.

In 2001, a petty misdemeanor drug charge relating to the incident was dismissed against Houston after a drug counselor filed an assessment with prosecutors stating that Houston did not require treatment for substance abuse.

Brown and Houston have been married since 1992 and have a 10-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

I am glad she is getting help as well, but I think for her to fully recover, she has to kick Bobby to the curb!

emeralds4kh 03-18-2004 01:42 PM

I agree.
Bobby needs to go!! She is so hell-bent on proving tabloids wrong about her doomed marriage, that she doesn't see how he is now hurting her career. Gald she's getting help, she need to pul a JLo move from the movie "Enough" and kick Bobby's butt good just one time!!!

nikki1920 03-18-2004 01:45 PM

Now who's to say that Whitney wasn't like that before? She had this good girl IMAGE, but that doesn't mean that she was one. And I am not going to stay married (to a man with four other kids by three different women) just for the sake of saying I'm married. I hope she takes a STRONG look at how this has affected her daughter..:(
