I wonder if they have rules about dating each other if they're in the same chapter. I mean, it seems like it could cause problems. Just like certain jobs, there are rules about dating because if you break up, it could be difficult to continue working together in a civil fashion. Hopefully someone will answer my question, LOL.

If they don't have collegiate chapters, I don't see how you could sue.

In my chapter of APO, the only rule was that Brothers couldn't date pledges.

But once you crossed, it was on like popcorn.

Would it be TMI if I said a few brothers practically descended on me within minutes of crossing? Ole pervs!

But anyway, I would also be curious to know if LGBT orgs had a no-dating rule.

I'm curious about it too because of course we have lesbian women in our orgs, and from what I've experienced, many times (but not always) it's like those from your chapter are looked at as 'sisters', so it's kinda like incest, lol, but other sorors...oh well, LOL. It's an interesting dynamic though.

It stated on one page that they did (I think FAQs) have a rule against dating (or at least, as I gathered, it is discouraged).

Now, I'm not an expert on homosexual statistics...but isn't there already a limited dating pool??? And if you can't date your "sisters" who are otherwise probably people in your limited dating pool...wouldn't that make it even more difficult to meet people?:confused:

As Senusret says, it is allowed in APO. People date and sometimes eff like crazy in my chapter, and has caused a LOT of problems in the past.

That's the way I view it - incestuous. I've definately had crushes on guys, but I tried to block it out of my mind. Apparently, I'm in the minority who views it as such. :confused:

I don't know about other people, I actually get hit on by more women than men (no, I don't look like the women in those sites). The percentage of women I wish to return the favor, is an entirely different story :( There is a limited dating pool, but apparently some of them can pick you out in a crowd, even if you don't fit the stone butch woman or flamboyant gay man stereotype. The same thing happens to my gay and bi friends.

As for partners, it seems that some of them go through as many partners as straight folks do.

But, I agree, with the limited numbers, I don't see how it is that possible.

I wonder how on earth they enforce that? It's probably like the policy on relationships in a management area....it's just a policy with no way to know who broke it or not (unless someone gets caught).

I asked ole girl and she is swearing up and down that it is not her and she is straight (overly defensive might I add)! I have known her for a long time and the eyes never lie. If she doesn't want to admit to it, so be it.

I have an issue with these women thinking they are Alphas, wearing para, throwing up hand signs, and the way they are representing A.A.I. Not cool at all.:mad: Even more disturbing is that brothers are present in these pics and that these are some of the women they chose to be a part of A.A.I.

THIS IS A DEAD ISSUE.

The current president of Theta Kappa chapter sent out an email months ago announcing that Angels are no more at their chapter and that they are embarrassed and apologetic for the negative attention this has caused the fraternity.

Let's not continue to give life to this issue when the chapter and the fraternity have long since taken care of it.

I'm not saying they have to look like prissy girls, but this...... A picture tells a thousand words.......
