I think that Nikki gave two of the best performances last night. I still thought that she or Justin would get the boot. I am shocked about Tamyra's dismissal. I really thought that it would be between Tamyra and Kelly. Now I guess it will be between Kelly and Justin.

Wow I was shocked that Tamyra was ousted. However my fave is still in - Kelly. I do also like Nikki, I love her rock style, even though I don't think she's as good as Justin, Kelly or Tamyra.

I take comfort in the fact that Tamyra will end up being a HUGE superstar. She's got what it takes.

My theory is that a lot of voters might have thought that there were a lot of stars already like Tamyra (Brandi, Monica), which I think is wrong because Tamyra has got this talent that sets her above the other three.....but don't worry, despite what America thinks, I'm pretty sure the judges have some power plays up their sleeve, and I expect Tamyra's, Ryan's and Kelly's albums out next year, and RJ and Jim's Boy Band to be making their exposure tour as well.

Seriously, at this stage and although I think she's destined to be a superstar, please vote Kelly off next week. I'd rather her not win and hit the echelons of fame and fortune rather than be packaged into the "American Idol." Let Justin and Nikki have the title, although the snarky girl in me would love to see Nikki actually win. She's truly beautiful and with training could honestly do all right. She'd doubtfully have a long-term career, but with the right machine behind her Nikki could make enough money to be comfortable once her 15 are over.

Watching Justin's performance was the most painful thing that I EVER had to endure in my life to watch. That was so awful. He is so corny!! I really don't think that this show is based on talent anymore. Justin only is still in the contest only because some high hormone teenagers out there thinks he's cute :confused: and Nikki is only in the contest because some people have high powered computers to vote for her 10,000 times (she is no pop star. She is a rocker). Kelly is the only one with talent on that stage. But I honestly think that if she looked like a model, she wouldn't be still there. I think that her "girl next door" look helped her out.

I was pulling for Tamyra ever since her first audition. Even though I really liked her, I knew that was going to happen. But I'm going to be the first person to buy her CD.:D

EJay had one of the best voices out of the 10 IMHO. I can't believe he was voted off first. It goes to show what this competition is really about.

Word is Jimm Verrarros, the guy from Chicago that lost in the beginning stages, lost his temper with a local newscaster. A newscaster from Fox Chicago interviewed Jim in his home and when he made the comment of "you know, many people don't think of you as American Idol material", Verraros allegedly put the man out of his house with an expletive filled tirade. It was played on the evening news. I didn't get to see it, but if any of you Chicago area folks did, please share your comments.

Is anyone else getting bored by this competition as it gets closer to being over? The songs aren't as exciting and lively as in the earlier rounds and it just feels like the same thing every week.

I am getting bored too. They need to go ahead and just end it and let Kelly win.

I thought the same thing a few weeks ago, but now I'm not too sure. I like Kelly so much I'll listen to her Mariah-ing and Celine-ing her little heart out, ya know? I like Kelly so much I'd listen to her no matter what she's singing, even country (nothing against it but I'm not a country music fan.) But like I've said before, I think it might be better for her if she was out tonight. Tamyra has already been signed to a contract and hopefully the same will happen as quickly for Kelly once she's out. Both of them are much better singers than anyone else in the top 10 and deserve the best contracts they can negotiate.

Scary enough, Nikki didn't do too badly last night and Justin's second performance once again stank. Tonight's show is one hour long. It'll be interesting to see what Fox can pad an hour of showtime with :)

i don't think i have ever watched a "voting off" show, but how are they gonna announce the winner, (which will take like 2 minutes), and add enough mumbo jumbo mind candy to fill an hour time slot? waste of a good hour but hell, i have nothing better to do.

Ok, Nikki wasn't TERRIBLE, but I still found myself cringing a couple of times during her performances. Justin bored me to death so I really didn't listen to him... and Kelly kicked ass as usual. It'll be interesting to see who's out the door this time. I agree that it might be better for Kelly to go now and get a better recording contract, but I will not watch this show anymore if she is voted off tonight. The only reason I still watch it is to see her sing, and I really can't stand Justin or Nikki. I don't think either of them belongs in the final three.

So is last night's show being replayed everywhere right now, or is it just my local station? The local station was nothing but snow the first half hour yesterday, and the show is being replayed now. I was just curious if they are showing it all over or our station is just trying to be nice to those of us who missed out due to technical difficulties.

They were showing that useless '30 seconds of fame' show here before AI. You must have been lucky :)

This has been the longest hour in network television. Ever. Why we got the reruns of last night's songs is uncomprehensible.

Everytime I see Justin, I see him stepping on the blades of a rake, and the pole standing up and hitting him in the face. And then Justin mumbles "bluhehehehuuuuuuuuu"

Then I see him getting arrested for framing Krusty the Clown in an armed robbery.

Wow... based on talent and performance. there's no one that can say Justin did better than Kelly tonight. Even if Kelly hadn't been my favorite all along, there's just no denying that she was on tonight and Justin was off. The songs were much better suited to Kelly's voice.... if I have to hear one of those singles if they're released by Justin i think i just may have to blow up my stereo. Those songs were torture when he sang them. Kelly took crappy songs and made them pretty decent to listen too. Justin's voice was flat all night and was just outclassed. Every note sounded the same, his vocal range is INCREDIBLY limited.

I really hope Kelly wins! She has an incredible voice and is so charming and sweet! Justin really bothers me, His hair, everything! If he wins, I don't know what people were thinking. But I guess it'll probably turn out well for Kelly either way. I don't think she'll have any problem getting signed if she doesn't win. Simon loves her!

Kelly was much better than Justin tonight. Those original songs weren't impressive. That UK Idol winner wasn't impressive. In the words of Tom Earp, I was underwhelmed! Kelly should definitely win. :D

Yay, I'm so excited for her, I think she is truly talented. The show's cheesiness level was at THE all-time high, but you have got to admit it's entertaining. I laughed so hard when they were all singing, and --from what I can only guess was-- dancing together. I sure hope I score some tickets for when the tour comes to Tampa, because it's so awful, it's hilarious. It's almost like, who can outsing the other ones? I am eagerly anticipating "Making the American Idol Reject Boy Band" , as well as "American Idol Wannabe's - Diva's Live." Or even better yet, American Idol Survivor. Stick them all on a tropical island with 2 lbs. of rice and a microphone...see how long they all last!

I'm glad that Kelly won...I wasn't that impressed with Justin.
