Babs may try to act all tough, but whenever she gets mad tears run down her face 5 minutes into the confrontation. She most definitely has to be putting up a front and is probably tired of acting hard.

i was not feeling this show last season, but after the long walk (and not the kind jilly from philly was talking about) and the cheesecake and the reading of russell's bio and farnsworth, i am loving this show... omigosh.

but am i missing something? i thought i heard diddy ask sara had she visited the kids, but three... damn. where are they staying? how old is she btw? and i felt bad for babs when diddy said that the guys would be looking at sara. i mean babs is a girl too...
she just needs a revamping. thats all.

did i say that i love this show?

Sara has three kids and is married. Her husband takes care of the kids while she is away. I believe she is in her late 20's.

Sara is 25 years old. She is married and she has 3 kids. She is from Port Huron, MI. Here is an article from the local newspaper in P.H., MI....

Sara said on the second episode that she ain't hip-hop. She's a singer. She doesn't listen to hip-hop with her kids, so I can see how she didn't know it.

I'm sorry, but Babs needs a tab bit more than revamping. She is tore up... She has no style, bad hair options (stole that one from Puffy), and her clothes are always too tight!

gamma_girl52 07-07-2003 10:10 AM

I just watched the re-run this weekend. I can tell already, I'm going to love this show...

Puff was comedy. Pure comedy. But he was right though. Hip hop has become "stylish" and you can't just go out there looking like who-shot-John. Everybody was off. Especially Babs, I was NOT feeling the hair, the makeup, nothin. She should have kept the scarf and cap on because she was looking thugged out.

We shall see for next week....

Gina1201 07-09-2003 09:03 PM

While we wait for tonight's episode, I thought I would let you guys know that the group, since they still don't have a name, will have a song on the Bad Boys II soundtrack that comes out on the 15th of this month.

RedefinedDiva 07-09-2003 10:42 PM

HTF they gonna cut off the fight?!!  There had better be some kind of reverse camera angle when they come back from commercial!

Ness has been trippin' off of his "captain" title. That dude needs anger management. He tries to jump off on everybody! Someone needs to break him down.

lovelyivy84 07-09-2003 10:43 PM

I thought their name was "da band"

I had HOPED not though.

Gina1201 07-09-2003 10:56 PM

Ness is a mess. Farnsworth was right. The common demoninator in all three altercations has been Ness. He seems to be on a power trip.

Just a few curious thoughts:

1. Who in the HAYLE put their fingers in Fred's dirty hair?

2. Why did Fred decide to get braids, if that's what you can call them?

3. Doesn't Tony Dofat (the producer) remind you of Harve Pierre (the VP of BB)?

4. Where did Farnsworth get that umbrella from during the Chopper/Ness altercation?

exquizit 07-09-2003 11:02 PM

ummmmmmmmmm

Being that I've been on bedrest I haven't been able to post in a while, but I have the lap top back!!!:D I've been watching this and next to America's top model this is my fav show.

In my opinion Ness has one hell of an ego problem and they should really stop calling him captain or leader because I don't know if he knows the true meaning of the word. He figures "leader" means talk to folks how ever the hell you want to and get mad when attitude pops off.........

I too have new respect for Puffy and tonight he was really tryin to teach them all something, but as we can see they still have a hell of alot to learn.

How in the hell can folks that come from the damn gutter who don't have a pot to piss in or window to throw it out of (as mymamanem would say) treat a situation like this in such a way? People are out there starving to get put on like this. They'd betta reck-on-eyes.

WhirlwindTNX 07-09-2003 11:10 PM

*Shakes my head at the thought of that sorry "captain"* Exactly how old is Ness? His hair line was kind of far back. . .like he's trying to hide a hair line

RedefinedDiva 07-09-2003 11:35 PM

Quick Hijack!

Anyone else watch "Who's Got Game?" There's some fine dudes on that show! It's better than I thought it would be. Doggy Fizzle, on the other hand, has got to go!

thesweetestone 07-10-2003 12:13 AM

Dang, what is in the water these people drinking. All of them wanna fight. On the preview for next week Sara even going off. WFT!

lovele1978 07-10-2003 08:51 AM

>>>>>> Doesn't Tony Dofat (the producer) remind you of Harve Pierre (the VP of BB)?

I thought it was just me! They really do favor each other.

They really need to strip Ness of that "captain" title. I really don't see what leadership qualities he has. I think all the fights are coming about because their egos are getting in the way of their goal, especially Ness'.

Questions404 07-10-2003 10:42 AM

shame on y'all

Shame on y'all for thinking that those two men look the same. It is just that they both are not cute and have greasy lips . . . and run up behind Puffy . . . and are looking more like chumps than anything else on the show . . . and  what's with the sunglasses indoors and . . .

I have been doing what I could to stay away from the show, but I haven't been able to. I was so disgusted with the first couple of episodes and thought that I would be put off by the violence that was shown during the previews, but I didn't see anything that I didn't already see in the previews. This is not the last fight that Ness and Fred are going to have and for some reason from just looking at the commercials for future episodes.

What gets me is that all of the people involved with the show thought that Chopper was going to be the problem. Instead, Puffy has annointed the insecure fight-picker of the group to be the captain or team leader. He is not handling his responsibility well as I'm sure all of you can see. He is doing what some of the supervisors I've come in contact do; he is coming at the other people with the notion that the others cannot possibly fathom the pressure that he is under and the things that he is expected to do. He has no leadership skills and truly has no power though he thinks that he is omnipotent. I also think that it was profound when the segments were sewn together showing that all of the members of the band believe that they are leaders.

I watch WGG. It's kind of interesting.

ClassyLady 07-10-2003 11:28 AM

I think Fred should be the captain of the team. None of the respect Ness and Ness damn sure doesn't respect anyone but Diddy. Fred has a cool head on him because had Ness put his hands on me, I would have whupped his chubby, arrogant behind. I can respect Fred for not fighting him because I don't think I would have had the restraint.

Actually, I think that anyone but Ness would make a better leader. Sara is probably the most capable of leading this bunch because everyone likes and respects her and she doesn't seem to let things go to her head.

Questions404 07-10-2003 12:30 PM

Fred = captain

I agree with what you said, but I have a quick question. Why does there have to be a captain at all? Why can't Puffy wait for a bit to see who rises to the occasion? Naming Ness as the leader was not a wise move on Puffy's part and I think that Farnsworth can take the lead until the nature leader comes out of the group. I think that Fred or Sara would be wonderful choices to lead the group if having a leader is necessary, but Fred needs to stop sucking his thumb -- maybe that will come with more confidence.

Whenever you have a group of people and a short time line you need someone to take charge and make sure that the group is on point. You do not want to have to go tell every person the same thing. However I do feel tha Mr. Diddy should have let the group decide who the leader should be

RedefinedDiva 07-10-2003 03:12 PM

I VOTE FOR SARA!!

Conskeeted7 07-10-2003 05:45 PM

I don't think the group would support Sara as a leader, just because she isn't quite as 'street' as they are. Plus, she is the only singer and she doesn't 'flow', they might not respect her being the leader of the hip-hop band.

Questions404 07-10-2003 06:18 PM

"Street" is exactly the word I think of when watching these children. It's amazing that they are allowed to beat the snot out of each other to settle their differences. I don't believe that Sara should be associated with these hooligans, but since this is what she signed up for, she should just kind of go with the flow. I can't seem to overlook the fact that she is a mother of three and knows how to handle herself in pressure situations (thusfar). I think that she would be a good choice for a leader of this group since I am not sure that "street cred" is going to be written all over this group. She has a maternal quality that is refreshing in this group and she tends to be the reason why I turn the show on. I am tired of the rest of the show and am actually waiting for her to say that she hasn't disrespected anyone else so she wants them to give her "some f***in' respect."

I know this was a while ago, but.....

Back to Babs and that hair. Tell me how in the world can Puffy talk about Babs' hair, which she could have done better at least with the color, when his momma (Janice, I think thats her name) is running around everywhere with that Blonde wig on her head and some skimpy clothes tryna be a teenager when she staring down the barrel of at least late 40s to early 50s.

I know yall saw her on Top Model when they did the Baby Phat fashion show. She was sitting in the front rows with that nasty wig on again.

Anyways, he also need to be joining Sara and Ness on that run because Puff is a little on the chunky side. I think his butt is bigger than mine and mine aint bad.

Now, dont get it twisted, I like Puff and what he is tryna do, but you have to lead by actions and not just tell them that they need to do things when your body aint all that tight, but then again he can do whateva he wanna do because he got it like that.

Thats just my humble opinion
Peace

BELIEVE ME, Janice is out-of-control with her Lil' Kim imitation. Trust me, on a few ocasions with a quick glance, I had mistaken Janice for Kim. The difference between Janice and Babs is that she's Janice, mother of P. Diddy. Babs is just... Babs. Once Babs gets on and establishes herself, she can do whatever she wants to do, but she has to establish herself first. She has to come out as her best.

Diddy has put on weight, he's DIDDY! I still love him. His butt is rather large for a man, though! :D :p

I have to agree, I didn't see the point of Puffy selecting a leader for the group. And what were his grounds for choosing Ness, I didn't keep up with the first season so I'm like

Going back an episode with Bab's hair situation...I understood that Ness was disrespectful with the phone call, but I was like why is she trippin so hard about getting her hair done. I mean we all had a day that the stylist couldn't fit you in on the schedule so you had to look rough for a bit. I was sitting there like wow its not that serious... then it all hit me at once...a sort of revelation I think...They showed the clip when she was getting the weave put in and she's BALD (150 strands the most...ok I'm exaggerating a bit but....) I immediately felt her pain. I wonder if she knows that MTV aired her with no hair on national tv, because what she dreaded most came to past anyway...poor thing :)

Well, as Tony Dofat said, there had to be someone to be the voice of reason, to gather everyone for sessions, etc. During the first season, Ness was nothing like he is now. He was humble, "hungry," quiet, and observant. He was about business and on his game. He wanted to win and he did. He is a good lyricist and he kind of responsible. SUDDENLY, he's head is LARGE and he feels that he can talk to people any way that he wants. How can he insult Chopper's talent? I mean, he was just showing out on the last episode.

It seems like Sara is going to go off this week because people think that she has it easy.... Go figure. Sara is talented and I think that she has it the hardest. She has to fit into a group comprised completely of rappers. She has never rapped before. She had to learn the lyrics two of the most influential rap songs in ONE day. I am surprised that Puff didn't make them learn the entire "Ready to Die" album. They may think that she is just there to sing hooks, but I think that she is the best in the group (at least as far as attitudes go).

i'm enjoying the new season, but i gotta wonder if this band is gonna make it. i don't think they have chemistry and entirely too much drama.

on another note, i can't wait til babs changes that hot mess on her head and frederick gets his thumb out of his mouth!!
