I know we had a cupcake of a preseason schedule, but you're telling me Bama and f***ing Boise State didn't? (I hate Boise State with a deep and burning passion as bright as that annoying field they play on).

Hopefully, when we beat (fingers crossed! knock on wood!) MSU next week, our ranking will go up. It might go the same way as when we beat Nebraska though. This team that was supposedly "amazing" and only ranked 1 below us was soon after shushed as being another "cupcake" on our schedule. Meanwhile, B.S. University is being praised for crushing CSU....

le sigh. I just hope my boys keep playing well!

Weird football weekend.

1. Az & UCLA. Why does at least one game a year in Az seem to turn into a circus. Even without Mike Stoops. A referee poser/ streaker and a bench clearing brawl? :confused: I think Rick Neuheisel now has 6 Pac 12 fan bases that can't stand the sight of him. ...including his own. That's got to be a record so I guess he has that.

2. WVU and Syracuse - C'mon Mountaineers - Syracuse. Seriously. Why... every single stinkin' year!:mad:

3. UO and CU. I grew up in Denver, my dad got his masters from CU and I spent HS wearing a CU tshirt to bed every night. My son still has a CU jacket hanging in his closet that grandpa gave him. I love my Ducks and I'm glad they won...but I admit a little bit of my heart is breaking for the Buffs

Had a great time at the LSU game today! Randomly sat next to a member of my HS graduating class that I haven't seen in 18 years. Ran into a collegiate sister from Auburn. Spent the afternoon watching football with some of my best friends...can't beat that! Geaux Tigers!

It was weird being back at Colorado. I love both my colleges. However that game was painful and a little boring.

Also the end of the Wisconsin vs Michigan State game was ridiculous!

The Washington-Stanford game was painful...at least for Washington fans. The game started so well, then it all fell apart!

Obviously didn't have a dog in the Wisconsin-Michigan State game - but that was some incredible college football - on both sides. Best game of the season so far!

On a another note - our children's minister is a HUGE Oklahoma fan, so we'll probably have to talk him down off a ledge tomorow. If he makes it through the night that is....

Didn't expect to win, hoped we would, and then it just got disappointing...

But, we weren't shut out, so I can't complain much.

The worst part I think was that we were losing and it was just way too warm to sit in the heat and not make a touchdown.

^^^I have a good feeling about this new coaching staff. I know they've got a lot of work ahead of them - I know they've had some terrible luck this year, but I think they'll get them turned around.

In the meantime - you're in Colorado which in and of itself makes everything better!!!

Yeah, and they play BC next weekend. Two Irish Catholic teams going head to head is never pretty. BC has had the upper hand in recent years. As for vs Maryland - a win is a win, and they did it in convincing fashion! There is obvious development going on among certain players.

Well this has been just a fricken' perfect college football day for me. Wasn't expecting us to win and was totally prepared to see my Ducks lose and accept Boise State's loss (on a FG AGAIN!) to be the consolation prize. Whoo Hoo!!!
