I was at St. Joe's recently (Manayunk was fun!) and I was very amused by Conshohocken and the Schuykill. :p

well, PA was always weird. id go into detail, but i kinda dont feel like it.

but upstate NY and LI has some weird town names too, so i cant really talk.

A lot of the "weird" names are Anglicized interpretations of Native American words.

I am going through rush in about a month, and I found this story to be very encouraging! I am going in with ZERO confidence and have an intense fear that no chapter will want me at all. I am having some of the same feelings you experienced, and you had a successful recruitment, which gives me hope for mine! Thanks so much for such an encouraging story!

I think almost every PNM has the exact same feelings you are having. Be confident! Be yourself. Just remember to stay strong through recruitment, and keep your chin up! Enjoy your rush and keep us updated on how you do! And I agree. This was a WONDERFUL story. I think I've already said that, but it deserves it again.

And for whoever was trying to guess which school, it couldn't have been Auburn because they don't have houses. Maybe they did a long long long time ago but I don't think she's that old. lol
