2 mile run this evening. No breeze today, and even with the sun going down it was still HOT. I am wondering how I will do when it cools down. Hopefully this is good conditioning for me.

2.5 mile run at lunch time. 200 crunches.

I'm a workout DVD junkie, especially now since I moved from an area that had a new, awesome gym to an area with a gym that is old and decrepit. I did Jillian Michaels' 20 minute shred video on level 2 and walked 1.2 miles with the dog. 514 calories burned today. Woohoo!

Sprint work again today in the heat and humidity. Tomorrow is boxing.

after being sidelined with a migraine the first part of the week...

Yesterday I took my kids ice skating for an hour and a half.

Today I did 20 minutes [2 miles] on the elliptical, a half mile on the treadmill [working on picking up my pace], 5 minutes on the elliptical going backwards, and 5 minutes on the arc trainer.

Not as much cardio as I like to do, but am still feeling weak from the migraine. Still feel better physically today than yesterday, so that's a plus.

Kids go back to school next week so I will be able to [hopefully] get my gym routine at a regular time again, rather than various times during the day like I've done all summer.

starang21 07-31-2008 02:26 PM

running tonite. 200 crunches.

Coramoor 07-31-2008 02:34 PM

Overhead Press, Back Squat, Power Cleans + 20 mins of HIIT.

In and out less than 45 mins.

Sorry, that alone is enough reason for me NEVER to try it. I commend you on your bravery, though.

1 hour of racquetball followed by a 30 minute full body workout. Thankfully all of it indoors.

sageofages 07-31-2008 11:09 PM

Good show! I have lost 55 pounds since February and it feels great. I never really got fat- just kind of big all around- but it is awesome to be back near college weight again. If I had known how this would feel, I think I would have taken better care of myself long ago.

Still, with the present and future looking so good- who cares about the past, right?!

This thread gives me such inspiration.
20 min run to the park and back. Crunches and flutterkicks.
1 hr on the elliptical plus 4 weight machines tomorrow and a 6 mile bike ride to top it all off.
