Let them make fun of us, GDIs are just jealous because we are better than them.
We go to college, we party hard, and in the end we get better jobs than them.

In one clip I saw, the letter "E" was missing from the chapter house and it said "Z TA." They probably wouldn't win the lawsuit because they are a public organization and would have to prove malicious intent on the part of Happy Madison to have a case.

Did Big Walt ever use any of our nicknames or symbols in his stuff? I've never watched his stuff but I notice he never goes away.

I totally agree... I have often thought as these 'provoked' stereotypes as a defense mechanism because it seems most GDIs have no idea how to react when they find someone who really doesnt fit the stereotype at all, because the fact of the matter is that we are just like them, except we excell at most things they cannot, have more fun in the process and pretty much always win out on the job market, because we have WAY more resources (and i like to think we are just plain better anyway :D)

I dunno. He made that one movie that was obviously inspired by AKA. The frat movie people were called Betas. I think?

So what's the theory if the creators and/or writers are Greek?

Negative outcomes aside, if this was intentional, they were clever and have received a great deal of publicity from Greekchat alone. I would've never heard of this movie without the 3 threads on GC. For every Greek who claims to boycott this movie, there will be Greeks and nonGreeks who see it out of curiosity or because they want a silly comedy.

Yes he uses colors and stereotypes that are often attributed to certain orgs. But to the best of my knowledge, he's been "smart" enough not to get more detailed than that. He knows his limits.

I agree and disagree.

In a perfect world, this would apply to all Greeks. But we all know that there are members/chapters in every GLO that don't apply to what you said, and actually feed into the negative stereotypes.

Just because a person goes Greek it doesn't mean they're automatically better than everyone else.

Me either.

These "protests" never work.

Plus, Beverly D'Angelo is hot.

And that will trump this "protest" for many people.

I remember years ago when members were trying to "protest" him and then they realized that our orgs couldn't sue him, anyway.
