That's my chapter! I never could figure out why everyone at Conventions/RLCs thought it was so weird we were the only NPC on our campus, but now I see why. :) There are several locals on campus, as well as CERES, Sigma Alpha, and Sigma Alpha Iota, but it's not quite the same.

I can think of quite a few reasons.

Here is the overlap for Sigma Kappa. I found it interesting that we don't have one main "competitor", like Kappa and Theta are with each other, or ASA and AST, for example. I don't think it is surprising that Chi O and DZ top the list, since they have the most chapters, although, coming from UMD, those wouldn't have immediately come to mind, because we don't have Chi O or DZ and we have 4 toward the bottom of SigKap's overlap list (AEPhi, DPhiE, Phi Sig, and SDT). I guess Sigma Kappa just has chapters at all kinds of different schools.:)

It the openings/closings of chapters all the time, I'm not sure how accurate or up to date that file might be?
