I've seen some interesting outfits on other attorneys recently. One time my opposing counsel was wearing what I can only describe as a leopard print cotton nightgown that buttoned down the front and hit about at mid calf (and was approximately 2 sizes too small so the buttons were pulling) with a cream double breasted nautical looking rayon blazer with some extremely large shoulder pads. To top it off she was wearing black scrunched socks and ankle boots. My favorite though, was an attorney I saw wearing a hot pink suit. Literally, neon pink. She had on coordinating shoes that were about 2-3 sizes too big also. Very professional.

Low C#-I do believe she was a spectator, or if she was a lawyer, she was not appearing before the court yesterday. But in the back of my mind, I was still thinking--hmmmm, you're dressing for court today. Do you just wake up in the morning and tell yourself, yes, leg warmers are exactly what I want to wear for this event??? It's not like she was Elle Wood with her dog Bruiser, ok!!!

I can't believe I was debating whether a houndstooth print blouse was too "out there" with my black suit, in comparison!!

I seriously tell myself sometimes, if only all female lawyers had been in the Greek system, these things would never happen.

If you like I can go to the chapter house and copy some awesome photos of you from the scrap books. ;) Your composite picture still ROCKS!

I almost did when I saw both. I really wanted to get a picture on my phone of the neon pink suit but figured that wouldn't be too stealth. One of my coworkers saw a fe-mullet on an attorney when he was in federal court. A freaking mullet. On a woman. In federal court. Apparently it wasn't even like "oh maybe her hair dresser went crazy on the layers" because the back was at the middle of her back and the top was about 2 inches long. haha

I had to google what "topsiders" and most other 80's reference clothes were too! Haha

Yay! Congrats on Delta G!

Can you reveal any of the other nicknames/orgs?
