My friend (who was born February 26, 1971) had a big blowout for our birthdays. Now that the celebrating is over, I feel kinda let down.

I think of 30 as a chance to start over, but I'm still a little weirded out, like there's so much I didn't do in my twenties.

For those of you who have passed this point, how did you feel when you turned 30? So many people have told me that 30 wasn't a good year for them.

Just because you turned 30 doesnt mean you are now old and unable to do the same things you did a year or two ago. I think you should go ahead and do those things you didnt have time to do before! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

When I was in junior high I would always get asked what college I went to! And I was always offered cocktails when we'd go out to dinner!!! I'd just stare down the waiter and tell maybe I should wait until I was legal. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/redface.gif

Well, so far it looks as though im the youngest of the group. My b'day is july 17, 1983!!! i wont turn 21 till the summer going into my senior yr. for all of yall who feel like u let you're teens and 20's slip you by, what do u suggest the ones who havent finished them (or for mer even started) do??? just curious, Liz

Hey, to all of you worried about turning 30 - could I just tell you there are worse things in the world than THAT!! Don't mean to burst your bubble or bring anyone down here, but I can think of plenty of people who did not even get the CHANCE to make it to 30 on this planet - so let's please keep it all in perspective!
