I think it will be down to Saleisha and Chantal. Jenah is fading into the background and Bianca has an awful attitude. I personally love Heather's pictures, but I'm not sure she has the skills to work in the industry.

And I think "cover girl of the week" is done new every week, so the judges wouldn't be keeping her for that because they've already decided. However, they CAN manipulate the editing to make a winner seem more appealing and a cut girl less so.

You can't be a silent spokesperson. I honestly feel like Heather is going to get sent home...they're just delaying it bc they don't want it to be because of her condition.

I believe that, too. I think Heather has a long way to go before she can be social enough to handle the modeling world. However, Tyra pointed out that CariDee probably wouldn't be able to handle shooting swimsuits in the winter if she couldn't even handle cold water in a pool, but they still chose her. Tyra said Danielle would never book a job with her accent the way it was, but they still chose her. Based on the past, I don't think they'll hold Heather's definciencies against her as long as they're thinking, "Well, she can always hire a behavior therapist and an acting coach to fix that later."

But Lisa was my favorite and I'm so sad to see her go. I think she really could have won if she had just been more emotionally stable. Lisa had "Melrose" syndrome--she tried so hard to do everything right that she fell apart the second she did something less than great. The more she was criticized the weaker she got and I really believe she could have won if she just calmed herself down. I'm really going to miss Lisa. :(

Now if Amanda from season 3 won - I wouldn't have thought at all that it was because of her disability (she was legally blind on her way to being totally blind by age 30) - it was because she took fantastic, kickass pictures. I just simply haven't seen that with Heather.

OMG I LOVED Amanda! I seriously turned it off when she was booted and the final two were YaYa and Eva (who is just a beo-otch to me)

It offends you that someone makes comments about a girl with special needs, so in the next breath you insult a girl because of her Spanish accent?!? As a Latina, your comments offend me.

The judges picked Danielle two years earlier and her southern accent is no harder for some people to distinguish than Jaslene's Spanish accent. Most of the top working models are from Brazil, Australia, and eastern Europe...they ALL have accents.

You are missing the point. She was basically saying that if Heather won it was because she is special needs and it would be a pity win. Hence me asking, what would Jaslene have been then? I apologize if that offended you.

Also, I could care less about the Spanish accent, I work in a low SES district where 90% of my kids are ESL and they still speak better than Jaslene, accent has nothing to do with it. Jaslene just can't talk (which probably has more to do with the education systems back when she was growing up, ESL education has gotten more forefront in the last 5-10 years than it did 15-20 years ago).

Plus 33girl is right, they probably picked Jaslene to target a certain market. And that shouldn't be the case. This goes for Heather too. If her (Heather) pictures start going downhill and she can't pull off the next commercial, get rid of her. IMPO the judges shouldn't be all about targeting markets, whether it be the special needs market or any racial markets. But that's not how the business is and it's kind of sad.

Yes, I think Heather would be a role model, but other than Bianca, I think the rest of the girls would be good role models.

Well, yeah. But they aren't doing Cover Girl ads on TV. Part of ANTM has become being a spokesperson for Cover Girl. And if you can't cut that in any way shape or form - be it heavy accent, inabilty to read lines, you move like a zombie, whatever - you should be out.

It would be a more honest show if they would pick either a CG spokeswoman or a runway model, because the two sure as hell are not always the same thing.

That's a really good point. They want a girl who can be a runway model and a catalog model and a high fashion model and an actress and a Cover Girl spokesmodel. That's a whole lotta people to be. I understand that Tyra wants 'her' models to be ready for any situation, but who can learn to be that many people in 13 weeks?

Infamous12 11-28-2007 03:40 PM

Top Two: Chantal and Saleisha, hands down. Honestly, both will get gigs galore so neither should really be worried about a 'title'.

My pick....Saleisha - she reminds me of one of my Neos/Specs. I can't help but to cheer her on, since I silently feel like I'm cheering on one of my babies! :)

Which is so true, not all models can actually act and not all catalog can actually do high fashion. It should more be what does the company (whether it be Elite or any other modeling agencies) WANT since they are the ones who are signing the girl. Which makes you wonder, why isn't the modeling company brought in much sooner than when its down to four to six girls who are going on go sees.

LeslieAGD 11-28-2007 10:19 PM

Ugh, Bianca and Jenah are sooooooooo annoying!

BabyPiNK_FL 11-28-2007 10:48 PM

I gotta agree on Jaslene, I could see if she came from elsewhere, but isn't she from Chicago? I HATE listening to her talk. She shouldn't be in commercial ads unless they involve a photo and only a photo. She is a good model though. As for the girl with Asperger's ( I think that's what she has), she's not good. She's just not good.

Remember that girl who had been in the plane crash with two dead parents and had a short term memory loss? Eventually that got old. She started to stink like unrefrigerated fish and after awhile her excuses didn't work because she didn't forget things ALL the time, just when it was convenient to.

This other girl, I feel they keep saying she's weird because of her Asperger's but I don't see it THAT much. But she's not good. She needs to go. All of the disability in the world can't make you qualify for something you don't have the capability to do. If you can't then you can't.

ASUADPi 11-28-2007 11:04 PM

I honestly couldn't care who wins anymore. Heather was my last favorite, they booted the others. I think it's absolutely retarded that they keep a girl who is a cocky and sarcastic bitch over someone who just didn't make it to a few go see's. But then again I've never understood their (the judges) decisions in the first place.

I basically just stop watching if I don't like the girls who are left, it's not like I can't find out who was booted via the internet.

christiangirl 11-29-2007 01:12 AM

^^^Lol, I guess you can stop watching now. I missed the episode, but Wiki caught me up.

Can we do a Survivor-style switcheroo? I wanna kick off Bianca and bring Lisa back to take her place.

Infamous12 11-29-2007 11:56 AM

I guess I'm standing alone on the "I kinda like Bianca island", huh?

*ducks to avoid all the backlash*

;) She entertains me...makes me crack up while watching the show. Sometimes I want to fight her, sometimes I just laugh.

I am relieved they sent Heather home. She's gained massive notoriety from this though. I predict we'll see her being the spokesperson for something charitable soon, some sort of organization for asberger's or something... and being a motivational 'speaker'. *shrugs*

 to Chantal, you talk about Saleisha 'kissing butt' and then what do you do??

I would love for Nigel Barker to kiss my hand. He's so dreamy. Haha

christiangirl 11-29-2007 12:15 PM

I think Bianca brings some comic relief in that I sometimes have to laugh to keep the rage at bay. The girl acts like she's God's gift to modeling. I would never have expected her to say she didn't deserve to be sent home for not completing the challenge and still don't understand was she wasn't. That wasn't tolerated for anyone else in any of the 7 cycles that I have watched. She is NOT the exception to the rule and needs an attitude ajustment. Then, maybe just maybe, I'd like her.

And I think Heather would make a wonderful spokesperson...if she could speak in front of people. I hope she gets that together. She definitely has the potential to do something powerful.
