I actually liked Jamie. If she wanted to save herself, she needed to get Courtney on her side. If Courtney had flipped, it would have been Pee Geih, Frosti, Jamie, Eric and her against the other 5 Fei Long. If it had been a Jean Robert-Jamie tie, J-R had several previous votes against him, and would have been gone. Then they could have picked the rest of Fei Long off. Sure, that would leave Courtney vunerable when it came down to her and the rest of Zahn Hu, but she's already lining herself up to be one of the first Fei Long to go when Zahn Hu is gone.
Next week's previews were VEEEERY interesting. As off-his-rocker as they were showing Todd, he has a point...James has BOTH immunity idols, and he IS the strongest player in the game...so he's pretty much unstoppable when it comes down to it. |

Courtney will probably make the Final 3 or 4.. once JR is gone..lol |
I hate that I read the order of who goes out. Looks like it's coming true thus far... no too happy about that.

But you know, as the game progresses and they get more and more hungry, Courtney might have a disticnt advantage...she looks like she's used to going without food for long periods of time, so she'll just continue to function as normal. |

No, her usefulness is to have her opposite you at the end. No one will vote for her. |

Wow...I didn't know which way that was going to go. I thought Todd might actually follow through and pull off James getting voted out. And, I think tonight is the first time this season there's been more than 2 names on the ballot. I think that fact is going to make Denise rethink her strategy, as she was TOTALLY out of the loop of BOTH sides of that vote. I'm also suprised that Courtney actually won a challenge, although once the rules were given, it was clear she had a pretty good shot at it. If she were smarter, she would have made a deal with James - she could have told him that his name was possibly coming up, and traded him her immunity this challenge for one of the idols to use later. It would have worked out for both of them because Courtney knew her name was NOT coming up, and James could have gained a valuable alli.

. . .I don't think Courtney is that sharp - that would have been a brilliant move.

But, even if Courtney had proposed this to James, I don't think he would've taken her up on the offer. I'm not sure he'd want her as an ally. |
I know James doesn't like Courtney, but it's really not about who you like...he knows Courtney is usually privvy to the "inner circle" of Todd and Amanda, and if she could have made the deal on the DL, and played it off like she was giving James the necklace because she was sick of Jean-Robert and wanted to see him go, she would end up with an idol, and no one except James knows she has it. James keeps that info secret in exchange for info on what Todd and Amanda are discussing. That could eventually get them both to the final four with Todd and Amanda. If James and Courtney stuck to that alliance, even though they don't like eachother, they could have very well ended up as the final two...keeping in mind that Courtney is THE person you want to bring to the Final 2 with you, that would have worked 100% in James' favor, even if he hates her.
Now, I realize that all of that is way beyond the intellect of both James and Courtney...but it would have been great strategy. |
Alright, bumpity bump-bump...
Who are we voting for to go home tonight?? What strategies should be used???
I really think that if James doesn't win immunity, they need to get a couple people to vote against him, and let him know it (Todd: Psst - James, I heard Peih Gee and Eric talking about voting against you-you need to use that idol) so that he'll use up those idols. They could convince Peih Gee, Eric, Frosti and Denise that they're all voting for James, and meanwhile Todd, Amanda, and Courtney all vote for Peih Gee...although that strategy is pretty transparent. Also, they really don't NEED to actually vote for James - just let him think they are. Either way, I think James only has a couple more tribals to use the idols, so he probably needs to go ahead and use them. I'm assuming that sometime in the next 3 weeks he'll win an individual immunity, so he should be safe until at least the final 4 or 5. I really hope that JuryFodder (aka Courtney) ends up going home, just because she's that damn annoying, but I don't think anyone will be that stupid. I think Peih Gee needs to pack it up, because she's more than likely going home. |
As much as I like James and want to him in the Finals.... I just dont see it happening. James is on the outside of a tight alliance with two decent strategists(Todd and Amanda). Everyone knows he has the Idols and NO one is approaching him with a deal.. that is telling if you ask me. He may squeeze into the Final 5 but I don't see him going further than that
