Nebraska starts tomorrow! I do know that the temp is 95 degrees with unbearable humidity. Good luck to all the Huskers!

Does anyone know how KU did ?

azureblue 08-20-2007 10:14 AM

I know that quota at KU was 46, but I haven't heard any individual results yet!

Kansas State U: A feature article with 3 pictures, but no numbers that I could see, is in the Collegian:

BTW, one of the "stories" in the Collegian's article reminds me a little of a couple of KSUViolets' posts in the past about the experiences of women with disabilities in various chapters at the "other" KSU -- Kent State.

Congrats to Mizzou....every chapter made quota! That is a great accomplishment! Does anyone have information like this for Iowa State or Kansas State?

One of the young women in that article is the granddaughter of one of the members of my alum association, and I was wondering/hoping her recruitment would have a happy ending, and now I know! She's a new Kappa Alpha Theta! :D

oldrusheenowmom 08-21-2007 02:21 PM

Hopefully OldAOPi will have scoop soon! :D

OldAOPi 08-25-2007 12:20 PM

I know it was at least 720. I am trying to find the list but don't quite know where to look online.

I happened to be in Lincoln yesterday and drove through campus as the girls where all outside! They were bouncing out in front of lots of the chapter houses.

Talked to my dd the RG several times - she had a great week and really liked the experience. I'll let you know more when I find out.

I do know one local girl pledged Theta!

dzandiloo 08-25-2007 01:22 PM

DZ's Lambda Xi Chapter @ Texas A&M got quota plus 1 @ Bid Day yesterday(quota=53)!

They used to print it in the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal-Star (I have them in my scrapbook). :)
