Okay, keep in mind that I now know people from each of these chapters and they are all very sweet, wonderful girls that any sorority would be lucky to have as members. With that caveat:

Mocha = Zeta Tau Alpha
Cappuccino = Alpha Chi Omega
Espresso = Delta Delta Delta
Cafe Au Lait = Kappa Delta
Macchiato = Kappa Kappa Gamma
Americano = Chi Omega
Ristresso = Alpha Delta Pi
French Press = Pi Beta Phi
Latte = Kappa Alpha Theta

I later met most of Espresso's pledge class and realized I TOTALLY would not have felt comfortable with them. So it really is true that sometimes the girl rushing you knows best!

and actually Alpha Chi Omega was my original thought, then i convinced myself otherwise. and +1 point on guessing TriDelta!

Kappa didn't have a recognized organizational philanthropy until a few years ago. There was an emphasis on women's and children's rehabilitation, but each chapter could really do its own thing. Even now I don't think all the chapters/alumnae associations understand our connection with Reading Is Fundamental :)

Great story - and I didn't know what school or anything.

I think I'd be up for a re-affiliating thread, if you'd be interested in doing so. We only had one woman affiliate while I was in school, and it was 1-2-3. It would be interesting to hear somebody else's.

I agree, I think a re-affiliating thread would be interesting. I've heard it can be very easy or really difficult depending on the school and chapter.
