Here's my take:

Collateral damage = death of innocent people
Tyrranical murders= death of innocent people
War=death of innocent people
Lying about reasons for going to war=death of innocent people

Sorry I didnt say anything you want to hear, Macallan. Maybe some other time, eh.

This is actually exactly what I was going to say.

ditto on the above - this whole thing is just a crazy convoluted mess

People in this country just have no stomach for war anymore. Its ironic, considering that people are yelling about Darfur, but as soon as we do something and people get hurt, we're gonna demand a pullout.

My party did NOT vote for the war. I didn't vote for any party.

Bush lied to Democrats AND Republicans.

People in this country don't have stomach for war? In your lifetime, has war being waged in this country? I'm talking about REAL war..not terrorist attacks. Let's see what kind of stomach you have then. As long as this country is the aggressor, we can be cozy in our little world and talk about it on GC  Oh, you if you have such high tolerance to war, how come you're not serving?

I think it's ironic that Darfur is getting attention NOW.

Of course, I agree that they are criminals and should not be compared to war casualties.

But if you're going to put a president through the legal system for his crimes, you can't be biased....there are other presidents/dictators who commit crimes where innocent people die as well.

So you wouldn't consider the terrorist attacks an act of war? Please define "REAL" war.

War- an act of a government
Terrorism- an act of a movement

What did Bush lie about?

ALOT

No terrorism is an act committed by criminals. War is an act committed by government --at least this war. BIG DIFFERENCE.

macallan25 11-08-2006 06:10 PM

Can you actually answer his question........I don't think "alot" gives you any sort of credible argument.

shinerbock 11-08-2006 06:23 PM

Yeah, its cool, I'll wait. Usually the response is just a louder rendition of "Bush lied, people died!"

_Opi_ 11-08-2006 11:57 PM

LOL@you two. Dont you guys watch the news? I'm not going to make a list of all the things he lied about. It's public knowledge.

Shiner, but Bush did lie, and so far over 600,000 Iraqis have died. hmmmm..
