I know my Rho Gamma was a ZTA and she the steroetyped ZTA. She was thin, with dark hair, and mediteranian look about her. Although there are differences with ZTA, it seems a good majority of them has these looks. I love the ZTA girls here...they are soo nice! |
Heh, so here goes Rho Chi round number 2 for yours truly. I'm interested to see what my PNMs think I am. I'm matched with a girl from another sorority, and she and I mesh well...truth is, I can see her being in my sorority! We might just fake 'em out. Now, if only the boys would TAKE ME OUT OF THE FACEBOOK PHOTOS FOR THE LOVE OF PETE!

One of mine was a DG and the other one was an AOPi. I knew the one was a DG, but I had NO idea the other one was an AOPi!
I thought she was a TriDelt...we all did...we even had to guess after pref night and not a single person got it right! The following day when she revealed she was in AOPi, I was SO excited! She definitely kept her cool when I got my bid card--trying to act happy for me but not TOO excited--it was amazing. :) |
My PX was my BIG! :) I knew she was a Phi Sig because she had cornered me on campus in the fall after I didnt join that semester! I was so excited to have her has my big!
|
Mine were a Kappa, an AOPi, and a KD. It's funny; I've liked every single KD I've met except for her. That girl got on my last nerve!

When I went through recruitment, my Rho Gamma was a Theta Phi Alpha, and I totally knew it the whole week...
This year when I was a Rho Gamma, all of my girls except 1 thought I for sure I was a Kappa Kappa Gamma, and she thought I was a Delta Delta Delta. One actually went Kappa, and called me crying because she thought for sure I would be her new sister...oops :) |
We only have like 450 people at my school, 2 sororities, and I was a junior when I went through recruitment, so I knew. But most of the freshmen who went through didn't. We had an Alpha Xi Delta and a Phi Mu...both were great girls who made the whole experience even better!

In my group we had 3 Rho Chis: A Delta Gamma, an Alpha Phi and a Pi Beta Phi; all fabulous ladies :)
I was right about one being Delta Gamma b/c I was friends with her little sis in the sorority. The one from Alpha Phi, I thought was in Delta Zeta and the one from Pi Beta Phi, I thought was in Kappa Alpha Theta. It was funny b/c I was absolutely convinced I was right. We were all trying to guess in front of them, they had a great poker faces ;) |
mine was a ZTA and I was really excited when I found out because I thought she was pretty awesome =)

I didn't join Sigma through formal recruitment. But my freshman year, my orientation teacher was an SRC. I had friends that were rushing, so I was curious about it. She would talk to me about going Greek and answer all my questions. In the end, I decided not to go through, because I wanted to focus on school and make friends in the other club I was in.
Fast forward to the spring of sophomore year. I became interested in sororities again, and decided to check out Sigma. So I do informal recruitment & get a bid. That March, I was hanging out at Songfest, which is a big competition that lots of sorority alumnae come back to Kent for. I'm talking, and someone walks up behind me and says "Jocelyn?' I turn around and sure enough, it's SRC girl in MY letters. She was a Sigma alumna. |
