What would be truly interesting is if half way through the season, there were no tribes and castaways had to win challenges to go to the "luxury" side. For example, if they "merge" with 10 people, the first 5 winners of the "immunity" challenge go the the rich side, and the other 5 go to the poor side...then someone from the poor side has to be voted off. It would make the strategy so much tougher because castaways would have to try to bond with everyone because they don't know which people will go to which side of the island. Also, it would force the Survivor Crew to come up with new challenges: not just endurance, obstacle courses, and puzzles.

What about the teaser? The one about one of the "castaways" making a highly and very controversial decision?
We have had people drop out on their own already so what could this be?

It was stated that there are *19* castaways and Survivor normally starts out with an even number of people, so maybe they "pick teams" and whoever is the last one standing, one of the teams put that remaining person on the "already picked" people, and sends home of the "already picked" people home, without that person even getting a chance to "play" (which would royally suck, but I'm just trying to think of the possibilities.)

They kinda did something like with Survivor: Pulau, where 2 people didn't even get to play (Wanda and Jonathan)...they got booted before the game really even began.

Good idea but somehow I think that something happens during/after a challenge or at a meeting.

I could be way off, but I figured it was something ethical, like something having to do with an animal, violating a local taboo or maybe choosing to do something that could actually endanger another castaway.
