The only people hijacking this thread are those telling us off. The only people making personal attacks are those telling us off. I'd like to go back to finding out more about gamma rho omega before he spams more photoshopped letters into things.

I guess I don't understand why anybody would care.

Also, if we're going to question whether this person's fraternity exists, should we question everything anybody posts? If so-and-so says she has a boyfriend or a child or wears size 2 pants, should we require evidence or give her a hard time unless these facts are "proven" somehow? Should we check the membership of everybody who claims to be a member of any organization? Or should we just take everything on the internet for what it is -- a bunch of random crap we have no way of verifying.

I just saw this today because I don't roll through here that often but I have to put my big AGREE stamp on this. The poor guy posts to say hello and then ends up getting chewed out.

I'm basing that on the number of people who get upset at "perps" or high school sororities/fraternities ... and there's the one run by a modeling agency.
People get very upset at those.

I don't care much either.. I was actually interested in finding out more, such as was there a military theme, etc. but I was not the one who hijacked this thread, nor were my friends.

I was interested in getting to know the Filipino Greek system, because I know it's different from ours.

Instead it's rip on people who "ruin" every thread they touch time.

OK - what house are you in? Which chapter? Graduation year? Pledge class?

Or calm down? Or maybe . . . why bring this up? If he's repping a non-existing organization, or he's 'invented' a fraternity outside the nation, it seems wholly separate from 'perping' or creating a high school beer club and calling it a 'frat'.

I implore you to go back to the beginning of this thread. From there I would encourage you to read each post that GPO has created. I guarantee you will find that this new poster has made it very clear that he/she is located outside of the country. Upon further review, you may identify exactly where GPO is from.

I'm not upset at GRO... I was trying to learn more about his org, details, as it were. I do think it's rather suspicious but I'm not trying to catch him in some elaborate trap. I just want to know more. I also PM'd him advice on putting Greek letters in his sig.

If I come across as upset it's because personal attacks are wrong. The only thread hijackers are those who come to this thread to make those attacks. And I think it's very hypocritical for them to complain about other posters.

At no time did it appear that GRO was upset about our comments. And his questiosn were answered. I don't know why people are getting offended on behalf of other people.
