If it would be just as easy for y'all to have this conversation on AIM, ask yourself why it's such a big deal that you NEED to have it on GC. If there's a better reason than "We like to annoy the rest of the posters," I'd love to hear it. And if there's not, then . . . uh, why are you arguing?

Nobody should have to resort to going on AIM when this is a "CHITCHAT" forum. Just because certain people don't like a thread it should not be written off as mindless garbage and consequently be deleted. If that were the case then there wouldnt be a need for chitchat because the entire forum is mindless garbage. Who the hell wants to know about stupid handbags or Happy Birthday to so and so. If you want to tell someone happy fuggin birthday then you should take it to PM, right? Honeychile just LOVES to post random b.s. that I can't stand but I'm not going to report her posts. And if you really want to look at something offensive....take a look at the "This thread we talk about GCers Mamas" or the "Greekchat names and what you think of" thread. Those are as dumb as the Mike Jones threads if not dumber. In fact, in one of those threads....several people are dissed. But, not surprsingly, those thread still stand. If all this stupid post should have been deleted crap and the take it to Pm ideology was REALLY implemented, we wouldnt have a need for chitchat.
And for those of you who think Mike Jones was just a thread for "us", correct me if I'm wrong but plenty of other people posted in the original Mike Jones thread. I don't know about most of you here but at my office I don't allow people to have AIM or YahooIM. I don't use them here or at my home for plenty of reasons (mainly because of spyware that comes with it).
