AM I wrong for having my walk in clients wait until I finish my lunch? (What happened to phone first?!)

No, you are not wrong for any of the things you listed. Folks need to baby sit their OWN kids. I don't know why folks act like it hurt their feelings or offend them to keep their own kids sometimes. I got a cousin who NEVER wants to be bothered with her kids on weekends.

Nope, Soror you are not wrong. I've done it before and if I have to do it again I will.

Am I Wrong ....

if I don't wanna go to some stupid lunch to celebrate my co-workers birthday today (she doesn't even speak to me!!)

if, to miss said lunch, i told my manager I had to run out during lunch (even though I usually work through lunch) and won't be back until it's all over

if I don't wanna be bothered by any of my co-workers?

Hayle naw you ain't wrong. I wish I would attend a lunch for a co-worker who doesn't speak to me. Later for that heffa.

I am I wrong:

To take June 12th off for my b-day then work 1/2 day on the 14th(for an interview at another agency), then to go on vacation from June 26-07/05?

For not going straight home to see my nieces (who have stayed at my house for the past week) for some peace and quiet?

Am I wrong for not helping a 'friend' that I hadnt heard from in about 7months who calls me and starts the conversation "Girl you said that I only call you when I want something"?

Am I wrong because when I move to another city in the next few months, I only plan to tell only very select people cuz only those select people really care about me?

Am I wrong for wanting to tell my boss that she has one mo time to try me and i will show her why there is nothing worse than an angry blackwoman?

Am I wrong if I refuse to bathe my dog and wait for my son to get home so he can do it?:D

teena 06-06-2006 10:37 PM

Am I wrong to go out and buy a phony-pony for every day of the week?

Am I wrong for not wanting to commit right now because I have way too many choices?

Am I wrong for being drop dead tired but refusing to just give in and go to sleep?

black_princess 06-08-2006 12:49 AM

Am I Wrong for not really giving a guy much play if I'm not attracted to him . . . . even if he may be a nice guy?

whiteandblack 06-08-2006 06:53 AM

no, because even if you agree to go out "platonically" with a guy you're not attracted to, they will STILL get the wrong message and then they will be blowing up your phone and being a general nuisance, and you will have to get your gun...

Exactly what I was thinking . . . because it has happened to me in the past. The guy/guys in question were not interested in friendship and yes it became annoying. Besides, why waste both of our times . . .

Black Princess

Girl,

Your not wrong!

Am I wrong for totally ignoring my nosy a$$ neighbors:eek: ? Everytime I go outside their trying to get into my business.

black_princess 06-19-2006 08:27 PM

regaurding the nosy neighbor

Naw . .ur not wrong . . . the last thing the you want to do is become the talk of the neighborhod !!!

BTW ya'll . . Am I Wrong if I distance myself from a friend for a while? The sometime-ish-ness and selfishness is not cute anymore . . even if she's struggling

BlueReign 06-19-2006 11:43 PM

No, not wrong at all. I am thinking of distancing myself from a friend who can't seem to get it together. Just don't have the energy to deal with her anymore.

Am I wrong if I told my 13 year old son that if he showed off in front of his friends in camp again I would punch him in the face?!
