I am not sure if your 'male influence' comment was meant to belittle the FORTITUDE of the 22 or what...

I also hope they portray what happened in the meeting in 1912 properly. There are a lot of things that could be misrepresented in the film. I'm ready to see how much information they have obtained and plan to put out to the public. This should be very interesting. Can't wait to see it.
Not sure how YOU would know who did what

Frankly, I see these comments indicative of your normal kissing up. NOBODY likes a kiss up including my SisterGreeks of AKA.

You're kidding me, right?

I had skimmed your post previously but this just caught my eye when I read Soror McCoyRed's reply to you.

Seriously, are you a Greek historian? Were YOU there?

Building up the foundation. . .ATBAB:rolleyes:

Although my sorors and I take pride in the beauty of the african violet, I hardly count it as one of the items that is of GREAT significance in the founding of Delta Sigma Theta. Whoever chose it (be it the founders or someone else), we thank you very much but in the grand scheme of things that is a miniscule detail in our founding........much greater, my friend, is the creation of a organization of African American women dedicated to service and that idea came from the founders and only the founders.

You must have really bumped your head. You cannot begin to understand the basis upon which my sorority was founded. Believe me the basic foundation of my sorority comprises of much more than what is in a public history book. So since you are not a Soror and you were not at the Fall 1912 sorority meeting you need to – RIDE YOUR MULE HOME AND STAY OUT OF DELTA BUSINESS. My Founders selected the violet in tribute to SORORS and my Founders decided that the African violet variation of the Violet should be worn in tribute to the Bruhs.

As far as me being bold, etc., everyone is entitled to there own opinion and perceptions. I speak my mind just like everyone else. Take it the best way you know how. It's not that serious boo.

Again it has not been lost on us how you dissed our founding on AKA Avenue. So don't play Mr./Ms. Innocent here--you will not prevail. Keep posting ish and you will see that.

And I am not the one who called you bold, nor am I your boo. RIF.

I know you said you were leaving, but I have a feeling you'll be back.

If you took the time to read ISOS you surely could not have missed the part that stated... African Violets were chosen because they, like Deltas, can be found in all parts of the world. This was then followed by the statment...the african violet's colors were also a tribute to OPP. How is it that you remeber the second part of that entry but not the first part? Which also makes me wonder if you are an Omega Pearl, Essence, Gem, etc. and want to give OPP thier props. Since most of the Pearls, Essence, Gems, etc. try to rep OPP harder than the Bruhs do. :D

I wish folk would understand that ISOS is a public history of Our Beloved Sisterhood. What was put on those pages were for public comsumption. Don't get it twisted.

Never said I was leaving. Please show me where that was stated so I can see it. I did say I'm done. Meaning that I'm done explaining myself and what people think of me cuz that's already been done. I will continue to post when I feel that need. Thanks. Have a good one.
