I can't believe it!!
I guess it is like some of those media people were saying, Not Guilty by reason of Celebrity . But then again, some poeple said that the "not guilty" verdict didn't mean that he was innocent, it just meant there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. Either way, he should have fried!! |

Having served on a criminal trial jury in California some years ago (and foreman as well), whatever the evidence presented in the trial, as well as the instructions to the jury, sets the stage for deliberations. In the case I was on, the defendant was found guilty of possessing a controlled substance (steroids), not guilty of resisting arrest, and the jury was hung on the making a terroristic threat charge. Don't know what the sentence was, but he was a prison guard at Folsom; guess he's not doing that anymore. |

X days of testimony with X number of witnesses = 24 hours of actual jury delibration. Who's kidding who?

I wish I could have registered jesusjuice.com as soon as I heard that but someone had beat me to it.
Seriously, I would have had the best time selling jesus juice in every liquor store across America with Michael's face on it ($0.50 of each can would go towards his legal bills). -Rudey |

From what all the talking heads and the jurors are saying, the kid's mother lost this case. Somebody needs to have a serious conversation with her! |

Dude, Jackson's got some weird fans:
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...ichael_jackson "Fans outside the courthouse jumped up and down, thrust their fists in the air, hugged each other and threw confetti. A woman in the crowd released one white dove as each acquittal was announced. News of the verdict was broadcast worldwide, triggering jubilation among Jackson's fans across the globe." I'm not sure how somebody can get so wrapped up in the trial verdict of someone they don't even know, but then again, I'm not sure how people can still think so favorably of Jackson after all the things he's pulled. Other thoughts: somebody suggested that he would go to Europe now, where the court of public opinion is a little more favorable towards him. I doubt it. That's what a rational person would do. Michael? Not so much. |
yeah, when the mentioned the dove thing, I laughed.
Many of those people have been spending every day out there since February. I think they might need their heads checked as much as he does. That's one of the things that saddens me the most about this. Had he been found guilty on any of the verdicts, I'd bet that he would've spent some amount of time in a psychiatric treatment facility. Regardless of whether or not he does molest children, he is in need of mental help. But now that he's been aquitted, he has no reason to get help and no incentive. I don't know if it was mentioned in this thread or the other or both, but you're right about what mother lets their kids go there. But that's not the kids fault, they shouldn't have to go through some of this shit because their parent is a nutcase |
Taking bets on when his next album will drop. I know I'll be standing in line at Best Buy to get it.
P.S. J/K about the standing in line part. I do want to take bets though. |
