French in particular. Many rules of French pronunciation (such as those concerning silent "e's" at the ends of words) change from spoken French to sung French.

it was just boring this year...i can say I only saw one of the movies (Sideways), and the rest didn't appeal to me, although I didn't see white chicks either, like those folks in the theater!! I loved Chris Rock's monologue on the thing about waiting for an actor, and the thing on the Gap was classic! Otherwise, blech, boring. I fell asleep right after Josh Groban, who was lovely, while Beyonce annoyed me again. And I'm sorry, the Oscars loose some cred when Puffy and Jay-Z are both there!
