6/25/10 I got my hair done today! Silly I know, but "I feel pretty"

Sadly, she didn't keep her promise. :(


That's what separates the girlie girls from the pedestrians. I love my hair for about a week after I get it done - it's so silky!


My good thing: I got stopped by a policeman today, because my car isn't inspected. It's not inspected because I don't have an owner's card, and my brother so far won't go to AAA with me for the title switch. Why is this a good thing? Because after telling the policeman what happened, he let me go with a warning "to show your brother so he'll cooperate!"

I had ordered 4 pairs of shorts & 2 new tops for my convention in 2 weeks - and they are all TOO BIG!!!! I was so happy, I cried a little that my mom couldn't see it - but she would have been thrilled for me. :D


On the other hand, I called the movers to see if we were still on for Thursday. THEY'RE COMING TODAY!!! (Saturday) AT EIGHT AM!!!!! I worked like a maniac for about 13 hours, then decided that they're just taking the heavy things, I'll get the rest throughout the week. My life seems to run in spasms!

there was a great sale at the plant nursery, bought this huge peace lilly at discounted price, purchased a great book, and rounded out the evening with dinner at my fave Italian restaurant. pretty simple routine, but made me happy.

8/5/11 Tropical Storm Emily is falling apart! That gives me a chance at a less rainy weekend, which means we might be able to go to the "Dog Days of Summer" event in the Eau Gallie Arts District tonight! HOORAY! (It's a dog friendly event!!! :) )

Upsilon brings home their Alphas today! (right this very moment actually....). Yay!!!!!

Three Alpha Delta Pi sisters are competing for the title of Miss America this year! Miss Montana, Veronika Ohlinger, Miss Vermont, Katie Levasseur, and Miss South Carolina, Bree Boyce!

It's not specifically today, but I'm really excited for recruitment this year.

My copy of More Sisters came this week!

Sorry to crash! But today I got a late bridal shower gift in the mail from one of my pledge sisters AND the final tally for PNMs at USF is at 488!! So many potential new ADPis, AOIIs, DGs, KDs, SDTs, ZTAs, DDDs and Chi O's!! Recruitment starts Thursday :)

today my daughter and I shared our annual birthday dinner........... one more year til the big 50 and 18!!!!!
