Hope this helps.

Although the key to doing well on the test is practice, practice, practice (under normal testing conditions), I'd still suggest taking a course. I took a course through Blackstone which, I believe is a florida-based company only, and I think it really helped. I felt really comfortable with the test by the time I took it. The games were my most difficult part as well. But that is ok. Just realize that your score is cumulative, so if you know that games is your worst section, then strive to improve your strongest section (reading comprehension or whathaveyou).

I am not certain about a minimum score. Each school has different standards. Usually the statistics (gpa, lsat, etc) of the last entering class is posted on each school's webpage. It is good for giving you a nice range to see if your scores fit in. This is a little dated, but it is ok to give you an idea of where you stand with a particular gpa and lsat score: Boston College Law School Locator

Anyone that has attended or are currently attending Howards Law School can you please send me any tips or advice on how to set myself apart from other applicants, Part time status vs. Full time status, finding apartments in the DC area (I'm planning on relocating after i graduate in Dec 05'), as well as any other extra areas of advice that i should know about Howard or law school. Thank you for any and all pieces of advice that are given!

I am not an admissions officer at HUSL- just a student. However, it seems to me the most profound way an applicant to HUSL can set him or herself apart is to score above 160 on the LSAT. I know it may sound rough, but honestly that is the way I perceive it to be.

I suggest paying the grand and taking the course- look at it as an investment. What is $1000 when you get a $50,000 education for free? I don't know of ANYONE with a 165 at HUSL who is NOT on scholarship- let alone admitted.

You're right! One of my professor always tells us that. He said that because of his scores he didn't have to pay anything for law school.
