Republicans are too compassionate to lie.

Laugh all you want at Republicans being compassionate conservatives. They laughed at Jesus too.

And that made me laugh. Not a bad way to end the day.

(So, are you implying that Jesus was a Democrat?)

I had a friend name Jesus in junior high school. He probably cared more about Vincente Fox (who's a friend of George Bush I hear) than Republican this, Democrat that.

Oh and I guess your "experience" deems you to make this assumption? I think its funny that you are hellbent on saying everyone else is biased..but your opinion is supposed to be UNbiased. CBS themselves are now admitting that the documents are likely forgeries..so do you even know what you are talking about?

Oh I forgot..since you supposedly have experience...your word is golden..

Whatever.

Everyone is biased to some extent.

I'm at least looking at both sides of the issue and speaking from 35 years of experience in broadcasting at the local and network level -- including 25 years in the newsroom.

That doesn't mean I'll always be right, but may have some insite into the process.

The last information I looked at from CBS (this morning) did not say that they believe the sources are "likely" forgeries. Andy Heywood (who I have met, but don't particularly like) the President of CBS News said that there was some doubt and that they are investigating.

Rather says that he still believes his source, but if it is found to be incorrect, he will report it first.

Your posts have a totally Republican/Bush bias. I haven't seen anything from you which even considered a different viewpoint. My comments have never been totally declarative, (I say on a number of occassions that I don't know what is the absolute truth) but rather (interesting choice of words) trying to point out the corporate as well as personal reasons that a guy of Rather's reputation can't afford to not trust his sources and go out on this big of a limb.

You can believe anything you want.

OK, it's a new day! So Rudey, why did the Republicans laugh at Jesus?

No problem. Republicans are friendly with everyone. While we were laughing at the joke, the Democrats were busy in another room, separating themselves, talking about how they hated everyone.
