Our broadcasting school has placed many of our graduates in top 50 markets as reporters and anchors. I know at least one of them that has been an anchor on CNN radio for many years.

I've seen lots of ISU commercials, plus many for all of the smaller schools throughout Iowa. During various college basketball games, I think I've seen commercials for every Big XII school and I've seen a bunch for Big Ten schools.

IU has commercials. I think all the Big Ten schools have commercials that are played during halftime of the broadcasts of football and basketball games.

So does the Big East, including Georgetown.

Also, for some reason, our School of Nursing and Health Studies has commercials, too.

Oh, by "commercials," I don't mean the ones created by and for the AD...I think every school has those.

I mean, the "Go to X University!" where a mix of diverse students talk about their experience and there's an 800 number on the screen at the end.

Miami University used to have billboards on the highways of Ohio promoting Miami and it's diversity. they found all 10 non-whites that go there and stuck them up there.

Clarion U of PA

Well, WWE star and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle graduated from Clarion. Also, Kim Lemon, of WGAL-TV, Lancaster, PA, and Hundai Attay (I know I didn't spell her name correctly) works for CNN in Hungary, I think. That's about all I know.
