I gave the baby a pink Laura Ashley outfit for her baptism. I also gave her something purple because I have to to true to DPhiE. :) I bought a really cute pink dress which I will give to her at a future date because she is too small for it now. She is four months and the dress is for a 24 month baby which means she will be able to wear it next summer. They make big babies in that family.

To tell the truth when I first had my sweet little girl I tried to stay away from the whole girls wear pink and boys wear blue idea. I dressed her in every color of the rainbow trying to stay away from pink. But what I learned is that little girls really do look SO sweet in pink! And I must admit that even though she is 3 and a half and starting to pick out her own clothes I am so happy that pink is her favorite color and almost all of her clothes are pink! And yes my closet is full of pink too...because still looks good on "grown up" girls as well!!!

I wish they made more pink clothes for bigger people. That's why I shop at Ashley Stewart most of the time. They have clothes in vibrant colors and many of my pink things come from there!

LOL--I buy my niece pink all of the time, too. I just got her some Lilly stuff. But, my sister digs it 'cause she's an AKA. :D

Have a pink & white stripped button down on today...gotta love the pink.

On "Style Network" they were saying the new pink for the fall is actually mint and lime green....i am not sure how I feel about this! More people look better in pink than green!
