Full results - Alpha Gamma Delta - 7 Alpha Omicron Pi - 7 Alpha Phi - 7 Delta Delta Delta - 2 Gamma Phi Beta - 6 Kappa Kappa Gamma - 7 Pi Beta Phi - 7 Recruitment began with approximately 68 women. 52 made it through to pref round, and quite a few women dropped out/didn't show (!!) for pref. Two bids went unmatched. Campus total is 45. And now I'm officially done as the U of Toronto Panhellenic Adviser (it's volunteer here). I will miss working with the Panhellenic Exec - they were always a riot! (**sniff, tear**, but I will really like having back all the sleep I lost thelast 3 years!!) |

Hey, sorry for the crash but OleMissGlitter probably hasn't had a chance to get on here and update y'all yet. Bid Day was today at Ole Miss and I hear AOPi did great. Quota was 80 and I'm not sure how many they took but I know they made quota. So congrats Katherine! I know you're excited!

Re: Canadian chapters update...
Gamma Chi matched quota of 12 plus 1. Twelve have accepted, and 1 wanted 24 hours to think (she has since declined).
With chapter at 17 members + 12, this means that Gamma Chi is only 6 away from campus total of 35 - the closest they have been in many years! They had a terrific preference, and made wise decisions. It was a pleasure to speak at their preference on how AOII has impacted my life (travel, family etc.) - I even made myself cry - truly a moving moment for myself as it was my 11th anniversary to the day that I accepted my COB bid to become a member of AOII. (*sniff...BLOWWWWWWW....sniff...*) And Bid Day was a lot of fun - lots os smiles and excitment all-round! :D Quote:

Nu Beta took quota (80) plus 5. We are so excited! Bid Day was awesome and all of the new members are just what we want in an AOII! We also got some of our legacies! Get excited! I am so proud of the members of Nu Beta and all of the alumnae and parents who helped us this year.

Re: Canadian chapters update...McGill
McGill University in Montreal, Quebec had Bid Day yesterday.
Quota was 7, with 4 unmatched women: Alpha Omicron Pi: 5 :D Gamma Phi Beta: 3 Kappa Alpha Theta: 7 Kappa Kappa Gamma: 7 AOII had a 75% retention rate between Rd 3 and pref (they had 9 come to pref), and were very excited about the 5 women they matched to. They are now half-way to their goal of 10 NM's for the fall, and have some awesome COR events planned! (Surprise - another chapter I supervise!) Quote:

Were any of the 4 unmatched women snapped?

They were offered snaps, but all declined in favour of COR.
