Do you live in Rhode Island?

I lived there when I was in sixth grade, and I was so freaked out by coffee milk. All my friends drank it though. And that year, they officially changed the "state drink" from frozen lemonade to coffee milk.

Yes, unfortunately I am stuck here for 2 more years until my husband finishes his PhD. We long for warmer weather!

Its not a state. Its a county that's masquerading as a state.:p

I also need to mention Original Hot Dogs (in Pittsburgh) and Super Dawgs (in Chicago). They are equally wonderful!!!

Ditto that. Culvers is Wisconsin, I only included it because I love Wisconsin, visit my grandmother in Tomahawk whenever I can, and since there are a few locations here in town I kinda 'adopted' it - it's only a few states away, anyway....

We just got a Maid-Rite a mile from my house in the Omaha 'burbs...

It's like a sloppy joe, but with taste.

I just did a report on this...probably has to do with the fact that they're owned by Wendy's.

Not here, but in my former life in the Midwest:

Two words: White Castle.

Also, the cheeseburger was allegedly invented in Denver.

Damn right we're all about Culver's, although in my personal opinion the best custard in the world comes from Mullen's in Watertown. Gilles' comes close SOMETIMES.

We also have really good cranberries up north and I hear the fish from the northern lakes is good but I won't eat it.

We have the best sweet corn in the world here in Indiana (well, really all of the midwest does) but really nothing compares to midwest sweet corn during the summer at a BBQ...

In chicago, my adopted home the BEST italian beef sandwiches ever. it seems like they only do them right in chicago - soak the bread in the gravy, pile on the beef and peppers... mmm i love it!

Maidrites, taverns, beefburgers, sloppy joes, loose meat sandwiches, call 'em what you want, they're all great! :D They can be plain or with a sauce, either way they're yummy.

(Hey, it's Iowa, we gotta figure out something to do with all the excess beef we have here)

Door County has the best cherries I've ever had, and consequently, the best cherry pie I've ever had.
