Wow! alphaiota...good luck in your business endeavor! I'm rooting for you!

Best of luck on the shop~ I'll definitely be there to purchase things-- just let me know where you wind up opening! :)

Good luck with that! If your store can cater to locals, you may just have a whole chapter to do business with. :)
|
Thank you thank you thank you! I'm figuring I'll cater to the locals of MIT and BU probably. I've really been excited about getting this started. my next big step is to write up a comprehensive business plan. This could be an issue seeing as how I don't have the first clue how to do this. I majored in Mass Comm. not business. oops! no biggy though. I have resources for this.

Good Luck Shelley!
You should think about shipping to Canada ;) |
Hi Shelley~
Just so you have them for any specific planning, here's the list of organizations I have on note at each school (according to MIT and BU's websites). This might not be a complete list, though. MIT ~~~~~~~~ Has a page: http://mit.edu/life/category/lg.html#links The organizations are down the page a bit. Also check out some of the other society links at top, as there are some academic ones listed on other pages. BU ~~~~~~~~~~ Anything recognized by the university is part of the Students Activity Office. Their page of organizations is: http://www.bu.edu/sao/orgs/name.html Hope this helps. :) |
thanks for the links and thanks for the help with the business plan. i'll probably try you soon. i checked out the links. they are a huge help. i have contacted MIT's greek system, but i should contact BU's greek system.
shelley j sigma k ps - i'd send anything to you lady pi phi! you're my girl! |
Try going to a local Greek store.. they'll usually have all kinds of bags, and they embroider Greek letters, names, anything on those bags. Everyone at my school just goes to ours. That way you don't have to worry about getting it embroidered yourself.

well, dang! I just registered, and apparently I messed up my signature thing! Can I fix that?!?!
