When Sesame Street started, I was working at a Public TV station in college. We all loved it, because "Educational Television" was so dry and stuffy in those days and here was something that was paced like Laugh-In which was huge on commercial TV at that time. Even as college students, we would gather around the master control room or the "big" TV in the dorm TV lounges to watch Sesame Street. |
