Y'all were SO right about The College Dropout!!! I think that this might be the best hiphop CD I've bought since Talib's Quality. Get 'Em High is my favorite track ("you don't even know him, why is you lyin'?") with The Workout song a close 2nd. And don't think I'm not putting that on my workout tape for real! I will be listenin' to that jo'nt in the gym!!! I will admit I am a little conflicted over the underlying message of the CD. While I am SERIOUSLY feeling like I could basically use my degree for toilet paper right now, I still like having it. Either way, the CD is the bomb!!

I also picked up the Barbershop2 soundtrack cuz I LOVE that song with Outkast!!! But, alas, I think it will get burned and sold to the Record Exchange.

And I HAD to pick up the Best of Keith Sweat!!!! MAN! All the Keith Sweat songs you've ever wanted all on one CD. I love it!!

It's so rare to find someone who appreciates Keith Sweat.. man I had burned me a copy about two years ago.. Right and a Wrong Way is still one of the tightest slow jams EVER.(giving me an idea for a thread)along with How Deep is Your Love and I'll Give All My Love to You and In the Rain and Make it Last Forever and Nobody and well ......you get my point:D :D :D

Have you all heard Janet's new song that's produced by Kanye West? They played it on the Doug Banks show yesterday morning. I like the beat, but Janet sounds kinda airy. DeDe had me trippin talking about how airy Janet sounds and how she wouldn't be able to make it on American Idol. :D

I listened to them yesterday morning as well. They are too funny. It's true though, Ms. Jackson would not make it on American Idol. I like the beat too.

I totally agree with you. I literally turn the radio off when I hear this song. She sounds horrible, but then again, I'm not a big J-Lo music fan. "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and "I'm Real" have been the only songs I've liked.

I'm still waiting for Carl Thomas to drop his new one. I saw him in concert back in November, and he said it was supposed to drop in December.

I heard it about 2 weeks ago. Ballad type song. I like it. :D Can't remember too much about it now but I was bobbing my head to the beat. :D

I heard it a couple of weeks ago. I like it. I think the beat is from an old Killa Mike (rapper from New Orleans thats on Rap-a-lot records in Houston)... at least I think thats what J-Tweezy (Max94.1) said.

I don't know how new this CD is but, Kem's CD is good.
