HAHAHA yes, that is the guy I was talking about earlier. He is HILARIOUS. His "performance" is just as funny each time I see it. His name is William and he goes to UC Berkeley, not Harvard. poor guy. haha One of my sisters just moved to Berkeley and I told her she needs to meet him and have him serenade her :p

ETA- sorry to crash your board, just couldn't help laughing about this guy

You know he didn't want to be the next AI. He just wanted to get some camera time. And he got it. :D

OTW, did they show the girl you know's audition?

Next week folks look like they are backstabbing and playing games just for a free trip to Hollywood.

No they didn't! I was so ready to hear her sing, but I know she'll be on next week for sure. They showed a clip from next week, and I knew it was her because her mouthful of braces is so unique!

All I know is that she sang Whitney's "I Will Always Love You" at the Hanohano Room audition. And completely blew the judges away. Can't wait for the best of the best next week!

Donnie Williams!!! Yum!!! He's too young for me but brother is mad soulful.

I also liked the Native American chick's voice.

I was not feeling that girl who sang Aretha Franklin. I think her name is Jennifer from Chicago.

Oh and ol girl who told about her duct taping herself to make a girdle    :o as well as one pair of pantyhose being too small and the other being too big, lol.

Why did Edgar show up again? I think it is time for a retraining order!!!!!

WOW... I thought Jennifer from Chicago had the best voice I heard all night and possibly throughout AI3. I also liked the voice of the sistah w/ reddish hair (and b-o-d-y!), but you could tell her attitude would hold her back.

(memo to contestants: people, DO NOT ARGUE with the judges! If you advance, guess what; you'll need their votes again!!)

Donnie Williams could sing but almost "over-did" it with excessive runs and such. ...just sing, the talent will show. And I agree, I really didn't need to hear about all the "foundational challenges" of the woman with the girdle, duct tape, hose issues, etc...

That was what made me almost dislike Donnie. I hate folks who sings with RUNS. Who still does that?!?!? Who taught them that?!!? Kill da noise!!

...you must not attend too many Negro functions, do you?:p There is nothing like a two-hour version of "Lift Ev'ry Voice" by LaFontez Shante' Jones, complete with "runs" every other lyric to get the party started right. :(

Yes I still attend the Colored Coalition events, but I don't hear too many runs. Last time I heard runs outside of AI was when I judged a talent show 2 years ago.

kira bivens, your voice cracked so much.

Umm Alan, you're a horrible kiss azz.

feu_declipse 02-03-2004 09:54 PM

Her song was low key good but she is the Camille of American Idol. . . a know it all.

feu_declipse 02-03-2004 10:02 PM

Even Camille knows better that to say Tyra's gay or just disrespect her like continuously. I mean a lot of ppl in fashion are homosexual so that's a bad example but you get me now.

wHat I meant was that when they were offering a critique, she kept trying to speak over them.

Some of those folks that got to stay are some of THE luckiest somamamaguns in the world. How you gonna forget a song you wrote?!!?!?!

ETA: Please Gawd get rid of Nicole the Scooter Girl.
