When I read this thread I get the image of a large room with a podium (or soapbox whatever works best) in the middle of the room.
Dionysus stood at the podium and gave her speech...
and then in interesting fashion...all those who were there listening suddenly snapped and started talking amongst themselves as if they suddenly forgot what they were doing there to begin with!!! and in turn doing exactly what Dionysus said she did not like...
then dionysus got mad... crossed arms across the chest and said..."you have been forwarned" like a prophesy (do i hear ooooohhhhhs and ahhhhhhhs?)
well anyways you get it!

Scene II
As O Great Dionisios removed her crown from her head and her diamond earings from her ears, she forwarned the rebellious crowd about the wrath that was going to come. Then she thought, "why do I always have to do the dirty work?" O Great Dionisios put her crown back on, stepped off the soap box, and returned to her throne. She raised her hands, clapped twice, and shouted "MODS where are you?" The mods ran to her feet, bowed, and asked "what do you want O Great One?" O Great Dionisios replied, "The foolish has failed to abide by laws of the court! Thou shall be banned from this establishment!" |
