Great Chat Site for BSP
Now that we are about to be a forgotten Sisterhood, We may have to pay for our own... but I remember when it came free..
**I remember lots of Publicity from local newspapers BSP Sisters honored for their hard work and volunteering. BSPs collected pds of food for the needy! Write ups on the election of BSP City Council Officers Pictures and information on the Valentines Princesses Chapter listings were listed under "clubs" weekly sections of who were having meetings and a contact person with a phone number. BSP were members of their Chamber Of Commerces You could not go to a country fair or local gathering without a booth or two of your local BSPs crafts or cooking being sold. BSP in their cities parades... even if you just marched with streamers and a t-shirt boasting a yellow rose. (of couse back when everyone knew our rose) A Chapter or two of BSP sisters in local theater plays or caberets. Tickets sold and moneys used for local charities. |

1) First Name~ Dana
2) Chapter~Missouri Xi Iota Omega 3) Status or Degree~Pledge 4) Why you joined BSP~ A friends' mom was in it (and she convinced me to look at the website for info), and I fell in love with the idea and ladies ever since my first meeting! 5) Anything else you want us to know I LOVE the ladies in my group! Even thought I'm the youngest (22), I can still find things to talk about with the other sisters 30ish and up. I can't wait to meet new sisters! I'm also on On-Line Alpha Phi. |
Name: Patrice
Chapter: Online Eta Status: Ritual of Jewels Why I joined: I did some research for a while before I took the step to join, but I liked the idea that Beta Sigma Phi was not only international, but that I would get a chance to interact with sisters of all ages, cultural backgrounds and races, and educational levels. While I think it's fine to have sororities for college educated women, I define sisterhood as a connection to all women, not just a select few. I like knowing that no matter where I go I will have a sister to greet me!:D |

Welcome Susy
