It is especially frustrating because psychologists, police detectives, and the FBI profile program (BAU) will want to study what made him choose that house. Did he target one particular resident (rumor is it is Maddie)? Also, why did he buy a K-Bar knife way back in early 2022? Ugh. Those poor families.

The sentencing hearing was today.

Not that wide of a range of possibilities for sentence given the plea deal that took the death penalty off the table.

Now that the sentencing is over, there are some seriously disturbing reports of how much overkill some of the victims endured. As much as I was completely disgusted with this poor excuse for a killer, I'm beyond horrified now. May Kaylee, Madison, Xana, and Ethan be at eternal peace, and may their memories be a blessing.

Another “American Justice” story where the innocent die and the evil lives. And on someone else’s tab.

You know what I’ll never understand? There are good people out here working two or three jobs, doing everything right, and still barely scraping by. They show up, they pay taxes, they push through exhaustion just to survive.

Meanwhile, you’ve got murderers and predators sitting in prison, housed, fed, clothed, and cared for. No rent. No job required. Some of them work — sure, for pennies an hour, but most of them aren’t supporting themselves. And they never will.

We’ve got innocent people struggling to afford a sandwich while the guy who slaughtered a family is watching TV on a flat screen and filling out crossword puzzles in a clean bed. Like… how is this real life?

And the sickest part? The people barely hanging on, the ones trying to stay afloat in this economy, they’re the ones paying for it too. Imagine losing your own child to violence… and then getting the bill so their killer can keep living comfortably. That’s not just injustice, that’s cruelty in disguise.

I don’t care how anyone tries to frame it, that’s not mercy. That’s a broken system dressing itself up like compassion.

And let’s be clear, these people are NOT humane!

And now with some of the files being released Kaylee said she felt like she was being watched while taking her dog out. Sends chills.

Oh, I don’t just believe in the death penalty, I believe in the express lane. None of this “20 years, 42 appeals, taxpayer-funded Netflix and night snacks” crap. No last meal or last words because nobody cares. You just go. Bye bye.

Nope. Uh uh… you get sentenced at 9:00 a.m.,
We walk you down that hallway like it’s checkout at Costco, and by lunchtime, you’re meeting whatever darkness you served, with a receipt.

And let’s be real, the people he murdered didn’t get an appeal or options, so why did he? This isn’t customer service, it’s consequences. That monster took someone’s children away from them. I know what it means to love a child. I know what it would do to me if someone took mine. So don’t talk to me about appeals or compassion for monsters. That gets no forgiveness. None!

He didn’t call ahead for mercy. So he shouldn’t expect curbside forgiveness. I am so sick and tired of evil people doing whatever the hell they want to innocent people who have done NOTHING to them, and then when their own ass is on the line, they want it spared?

No. You weren’t merciful. You don’t get mercy. You get what you give. That’s just the journey of life.

It’s not about that. It’s about entitlement. He believed he deserved people’s lives and attention just for existing. You don’t get to blame murder on rejection. That’s not heartbreak, that’s a broken conscience. There’s no excuse for what he did. None. And the fact that some people still try to explain it away tells me how uncomfortable society is at calling evil what it is.
