Bid day is now at 2, from the Magnolia parking garage. If it rains, supposedly they will have buses instead of the girls running to their house:( I'm just excited to know I'll get a bid from somewhere that I'm happy about, because I loved all three pref houses I visited. Of course there's a favorite, but there are also reasons I may fit better in the houses I liked less.
|
The PNMs are right at the houses' back doors. Why would they have buses to take them to the houses?
Anyway....you are lucky to have had 3 parties - lots and lots had less and some had none. Good luck to you - whichever one you get, enjoy!! |
Honestly, I'm not sure why they would do buses, but it was just what actives in 2 different houses told me. I was really looking forward to getting to run out of the stadium, and while the stadium isn't going to happen, I'd still like to get to run there.

Found out my rec girl pledged Alpha Chi. So, even though she didn't end up my sister, I'm super happy that she found her place!
|
I reached out to my rec girl to ask how things went. Hope she's ok.

These numbers are from the local newspaper. The good news is 93% of the women were placed. Sixteen chapters participated and 2488 women received bids.
Of that number 25 were African Americans. The news report listed 246 were from minority groups. |
She had two prefs and went Delta Zeta. So relieved!!
