WOW.
I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!!!

this cd is EVERYTHING Everyday wasn't. it's even better than the lillywhites. there is actually instrumentation on this cd. It's not even that the band gets to jam out more than on everyday, which of course they do (only one way to go really)...but you can actually hear them when Dave sings. They're as present in the songs as Dave is. As opposed to Everday, which was really Dave Matthews and his band, this cd really is the Dave Matthews Band.

I can't express how impressed I am with the cd. I'm a bit disappointed that Bartender is basically the exact same as it was on the Lillywhites, but really, it's still my fave. I love what he did to Grey street and Grace is Gone. And I actually listen to Raven and Kit Kat now, whereas I always used to skip over when I listened to the Lillywhites. I actually LOVE Kit Kat Jam. Of course that is because some of the most talented musicians I have ever heard play for DMB. This cd really does highlight the whole band, which is the primary reason I love DMB. Don't get me wrong, I love Dave. I mean, if he'd have me, my boyfriend would be SOL. But what makes this band so unique and amazing is that the band is as important as the singer. Which is exactly where Everyday failed. The musicians played mechanically and it was as if they were as pissed off about the way the cd was turning out as the true dmb fans were when they heard it. I really would like to forget that that cd ever happened....wonder if an exorcist could help me out with that....

Anyone read the liner notes tho? He thanks Glen Ballard. WTF is that?!? Yah, I'd thank him too if I were Dave. "A big thanks to Glen Ballard...FOR ALMOST RUINING MY CAREER!". "A big thanks to Glen Ballard, FOR PARTICIPATING IN MY TEMPORARY LOSS OF SANITY!" Seriously, what's up with that?

WTF! If I was Dave, I'd be slapping Glen Ballard up side the head for what he did on Everyday!!!!!

I just got my copy. LOVING IT SOOOOO MUCH!!! Loving all of the songs. This is the Dave I know and love. No more of that Everyday crap PLEASE!!!!

I wasn't even going to get the cd today because of how much I just spent on my hair ($110--temporary loss of my damn sanity) but my Dave obsession just wouldn't let me go without. So no more spending for a very very very very long time. But I'll be ok with my new cd and ultra-cute hair!!!! :)

Yea....I'm so glad everyone is loving the new album as much as I am. If it wasn't for the fact I work in a stupid call center, I would be jamming Dave at work. Why is everyone downing Everyday? It wasn't that bad (ok so maybe Angel,I Did It,and The Space Between kinda sucked, but all the other songs were good,right?):D :p :)
