The PC (Progressive Conservative)
The BQ (Bloc Qubecois)
The NDP (The New Democratic Party)

On the poli spectrum:

the Libs are pretty much centre
The PC are a bit to the right and the Alliance are a bit further to the right)
The BQ are just a little to the left and the NDP are a further on the left)

When comparing Canadian and US political parties are RW parties still tend to be more left than US LW parties.

I'm a Progressive Conservative with Monarchist leanings ;)

I'd say that I have liberal views but I tend to vote Conservative...because I can't stand the liberal party

Green, though I don't agree with their trade policies. I think all trade barrier should go.

Republican.

I love the entire Bush family - Dubya, Jeb, but most of all George Prescott Bush :)

LXAAlum 10-16-2002 11:57 PM

I am what is known as a
Broken Glass Republican (see Peggy Noonan to figure it out).

DRau 10-17-2002 12:07 AM

Very Green.... See my location for explaination ;)

Hootie 10-17-2002 12:14 AM

Republican and darn proud!:D

Betarulz! 10-17-2002 01:33 AM

I'm a super Liberal, who hasn't done enough homework to decide whether I should be Green or not -- so I'll go with Democrat for now. However, growing up (and registered to vote) in Kansas, I am changing my registration to Republican just so that in the next primary in two years I'll be able to make a bigger impact on the political process (so I can keep them damn right wingers out).

Now I'm getting active in Young Republicans of Bexar County, now that I'm back in San Antonio.
4 more years.

When I go back to SA in June, I'd like to join. :) I'd never heard of it. At St. Mary's, there is a club called Student Deomcrats, or something similar, but there is no formal Republican group on campus.

For our Canadian brothers and sisters, I know you obviously have different political parties than Americans do but please post anyway :)

Ok, one of your Canadian sisters will chime in here.
I think if I had the privilege of voting in the US election, I think I would probably be more Democrat.

I am socially Democrat and fiscally Republican.
You guys (i.e. Americans) need something that falls right in the middle of those parties.
