We have 2 articles. HC my niece is pictured in our Cotillion Photo. She served as a princess. She is the first princess (from left to right) on the left side of the queen. (If you can understand that).

We have a couple of items in the new Ivy Leaf. One of our chapter sorors who is a member of a national committee wrote the article on page 30.

Within the Social Settings, there's an article on our deb ball. I'm very proud of it.;) :D

HC.... I was in Electronics Express Sunday and one of the sales clerks came over to me and said, "Hey how are you? That is a nice swater you have on, I love the colors where did you find it?

HC.... I asked are you serious?

HC.. he was and asked where he could find one??!!

HC.. I told him, "First of All this is a Sorority, pronounced Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, INC. ....................(more ..... for another 3 minutes...) then he finally understood. :rolleyes:

HC .... he told me he was asking because he has a friend at Fisk and she wanted to be with "Those Colors" (Pink and Green) :eek:

HC... I told him NNNEEEVVVEERRR Ever ever ever, approach anybody like that again and tell his "friend" that too! and it sounds like they both have a lot of research to do and a lot to think about. I left the store like :confused: (Maya-- "Like Whoa!")

HC at our High School football game Friday night one of our cheerleaders approached me?
HC she said that she was going to be an AKA like me? :o :eek:
HC GTFOOH?
HC you know I had to regulate/educate/indoctrinate/etc etc?
HC at first she didn't understand what I was saying?
HC after about 5 minutes, she understood?
HC in the same conversation, she told me her cousin was 'online' at such a such university? :eek:
HC I gave her a message to give to her cousin?
HC I told her to make SURE she told her cousin that MS. 2D @ such a such high school said such a such?
HC I repeated it for emphasis?
HC how are you gonna tell me what you are going to become?
HC in the end, she thanked me and began eating 'humble pie'?

I haven't received our new Ivy Leaf.....Soror ST when did yours arrive? I'll give it a few more days before I make that phone call.

HC my fiance gave me 6 huge balloons, a rose, and a teddy bear for no reason yesterday

HC I just had to have the polar fleece hat, gloves and scarf set from Bath & Body Works just because it was PINK?:D

(Maybe because they match the Timberlands I picked up at Lady Footlocker on sale the day after Thanksgiving;) )
