My Condolences
 

My hearfelt prayers go out to the Moore family and the members of the Iota Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. This loss of human life is truly a tragedy.

To the family of Soror Christine Moore and my Sorors of Iota Theta Chapter,

May the Lord comfort and keep you is my prayer. Know that Christine has moved on to a better place and though she will be missed dearly, the Lord has called her home. Lean on the Lord and he will give you strength in this time of trouble. Know that the Lord will bring you through and he will never put more on you than you can bear. My heartfelt condolences goes out to you.

I am saddened to hear of the death of your soror, Christine Moore. Does anyone have a mailing address for the family, or the chapter? Some of my sorors on a listserv I belong to and myself would like to extend our condolences.

Sorors, Friends, and Guests

Please join us in a moment of silence at 12:00 EST today as we reflect upon God's angel, our beloved Soror Christine Moore.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences out to Soror Moore's family and the Sorors at the Iota Theta Chapter. You are all in my prayers in this time of sorrow.

This is beyond tragic. I offer my deepest sympathy to every life this young woman touched. May God comfort her family and sorority sisters during this time of mourning.

I send my deepest condolences to the family and to the Sorors at LSU. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and everyone that was and is touched by Christine. If there is anything that the KAPPA MU chapter can do we are willing to help in any way. In love and Christ my prayers are out to the family.

I can hardly type because my eyes are so full.
Why do things like this have to happen ? Only GOD knows. There are really no words that can be said that can make up for the loss that the Moore's or therfore Delta has just encountered.
I can only think to say, stay prayerful and be ecounraged..

My deepest sympathies go out to Christine's family, friends, and to the ladies of the Iota Theta chapter of DST.

As soon as I read the article last night, I felt compelled to send an e-mail to each of my LS's letting them know how much I love and truly treasure each and every one of them. I encourage you all to do the same - you never know when it may be too late.

I am also interested in an address to send condolences to the family.

When I heard the news, my heart dropped. All I could think about was Christine's family and her Sorors.

My deepest symapthies go out to them. She is in a better place and you all will continue to be in my prayers. :(

I would first like to thank each and every one of you for all of your heartfelt prayers and support. I know that Christine's family and my line sisters appreciate it greater than we can ever express to you. I also know that it is a blessing that Christine is able to look down upon us and see how much she is loved.

I cannot give out the contact information to Christine's immediate family because family members that Iota Theta has been in contact with told us that it would be best for us not to contact the immediate family right now. When the family gives consent, I will let everyone know.

Also, Iota Theta will most likely set up a charity or scholarship in Christine’s name. I will update everyone when that is completed.


And if I haven'y responded to any private messages yet, I am going to do so. I have hundreds of e-mails, and I'm responding to each e-mail personally one at a time. I do appreciate every one who has reached out to me and given me encouraging words to help me through this difficult time. This is the first time that I have actually experienced the death of someone close to me, and I am taking it very hard.
