It didn't seem like she was acting at all. I was really blown away by the part where she caught him looking at another woman!:eek: Maybe he's just shy and doesn't like the cameras but he doesn't seem to be interested in anything and they are always arguing about something...

I too agree that she was doing a whole lot of acting! Can you believe that she's in people magazine 14 days after the baby's birth playing tennis with her husband and the baby is sitting in the stroller???:eek: I feel that's much too soon.

It seems to me that she is just bossy, and he is simply a pushover. He does whatever she says!!!
I don't know if it's the pregnancy or simply her attitude! I watched another documentary about her (I think it was also on MTV) and she and her mom talked about how people didn't really like her when she was growing up. They said she thought she was better than everyone else and that she was VERY outspoken and bossy.
As far as the acting thing.....well of course, even if she had no intention of acting,she knows that the camera is right in her face. When you know that a camera is on you, you tend to act different (at least a little bit). ;) I personally think that she is putting on a great "show" for the whole world to see.

I thought it was just me that noticed some of the things ya'll are saying. As far as her marriage goes I'm just going by what I'm seeing on TV because once the cameras go off and the doors close it may be a different story. Personally, I don't like the way she talks to her husband. She speaks to him as if he's a child. But on the other hand he does seem very uninterested in the show and what's going on (ie: the classes with the parenting coach).

When she was in the hospital, I could understand how she felt because hospitals do the same thing for me and it was probably a harsh reality check for her of what she was in store for.

I had her back about the whole marriage/baby dates and whether or not she was pregnant before or after the marriage. But after she made the comment "Why didn't you wear a condom"? at the end of the last episode...I couldn't believe she put her business out there like that.

I have not watched since the first episode, buuuuuut. . .

I just read you all's comments. FIRST OF ALL, Brandy get yo azzzz in the bed. REST CHILD. Get your baby away from all of these germs. I will take total, full, complete advantage of my maternity leave.

Brandy you and hubby should be @ home bonding with baby. If people want to see the baby, tell them to COME TO YOU. Get your butt out of the studio. Your baby is not a TOY to show off.

Ok, why in the world would you do a documentary about your pregnancy and your BABY if w don't get to see the kid? I mean, they showed a little glimpse of her at the end, but that was it. Come on. This was all a bunch of nonsense. Can I get a show when I get pregnant?

As for Robert, I don't know about him. It seems, at times, that he really is into all of this. But at the same time, he seems like he could care less. I am not even tripping off of that "condom" thing. I took it as a joke. "Married" folks can joke like that. I pray that all is well with the marriage and the kid.

P.S. Who was the ugly white girl chillin' at the hospital with the family? If I'm not mistaken, she came with Ray J....

Two weeks is not too soon to return to normal activity after an uneventful vaginal birth. It took me about that time to get back to myself after my daughter, and I had stitches for a cervical tear.

I hope the baby publicity is over now though. Let that woman and her family have some privacy.

And I am glad that Robert finally spoke about his take on the pregnancy thing. :)

Thank you RefinedDiva for pointing this out. I really thought I was the only one looking at that. I was more interested in who she was then anything else. I was like I know Ray J did not bring this White girl, who is not cute, to his sister's birth. (And it seemed like everyone was ignoring her too)

ANYWAYS.... I heard that Brandy and Robert and Sy'rai may not be as happy as they are portraying themselves (not the baby) to be.

Word has it, Brandy is running around talkin about a former boyfriend of hers. Talkin about she knows that he is hurt and that she misses him and such and such.

Now, Jeannie was like she thinks that its the boyfriend that was abusive to Brandy. Telling her that she wasnt s**t and that she aint neva gonna be nothing etc, etc, etc.

Now in my opinion, I think that Brandy should be happy with who she is with IF he makes her happy and stop worrying about what she aint got because what she have wasnt better than what she got now (according to her, ie she talks about how happy she is with the new baby and her hubby Bert). Why she gotta go and start the process of messing a good thing up. Get ova the other dude whoever it was that was abusing her or whateva happened. Why not move on? I just dont understand.

OK I saw the last episode the other day!! Does it bother anyone else that the poor baby was out at 3 days old? Or that she took that poor child to the studio (with speakers bangin') and let ole boy hold her child without washing his hands?

Maybe I am old fashioned ( i had my little angel in Feb) and she didn't go anywhere (excluding the dr. for shots) until Easter when she made her church debut......

Yes!! I don't think of myself as "maternal", but she had her baby out of the house and at a studio with all dem mens, and she JUST had her baby. I don't get it. And I thought that when you hold a new baby, you always wash your hands. But maybe it's just me.

As far as her husband being uninterested, I just attributed his attitude to him being a young father. He's younger than Brandy, I think maybe 21, and I think Brandy is the head of the household. It's her house, her baby, her money. And speaking of her money, did you all see all the Coach bags (tote, backpack, suitcase, etc). I love Coach, but I just thought that was over the top...

Girl, I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I'm totally against people who OD on logos. I mean she had about five logo Coach purses and then her husband rolled up to the hospital with the logo Coach suitcases. That was just too much for me.

This whole "series" seemed like a scripted show for me. Nothing really seemed natural. Brandy called her husband "baby" every thirty seconds and he barely responded. It just seemed like she trying to prove to the audience that her marriage was for real.

I know that her husband and her friend Drano are supposed to be these big time producers but I had never heard of them before this show. I don't know what kind of music they are producing, but if it was Hip Hop or R&B I think that I would have some inkling as to who they are. Drano was on the phone cursing somebody out like he was big time. And then, when they were at his house, he had a platinum or gold record on the wall behind him. Nowadays, producers are a big part of the music industry and if somebody has a hit record, normally we all know who produced the track. The producer is really the one who made the song a hit. I am not the least bit familiar with any work that either of them have done.

The whole thing seemed very scripted. I tried not to be critical, but that show was just really annoying. Well, let me specify...BRANDY was annoying. All that lovey dovey crap was gettin' on my last nerve. And hugging him every 5 minutes. DAYUM! And it was always her hugging him. :confused:

I know you are sensitive and your hormones are raging (I have 2 children), but why did she just break out crying in the hospital like that?!?!?!

I mean... Come on!! She freaked out by just looking at the bed in the nursery, but she is willing to take the baby out and let all these people breath on her at 3 days old without washing their hands!!!:mad: No mother (in her right mind) would have their baby out after 3 days! I know she is a new mother and all, but common sense comes into play. She hadn't even gone back for her 1 week checkup!! Then people wonder how their children get sick. :rolleyes:


Now, this is when her Momma needed to slap the isht out of her.
