OK, NONE of us are in the shape we were when we started college, and I'll be the firs tto admit, I've put on about 15 lbs. I also havent been to the gym in a while, because I went into business with three other kids and if we dont produce, we dont eat (why I am usually at at the office till 9pm or so) and so I am not in the shape I was in when I started college. (Not that I look bad, but whatever- but I am a BIT self-concious)

ANYWAY. So I am rounding 3rd base, thinking of stealing home and say, "Wow you have a great body." and the bitch says, "I thought you used to be a lifeguard?"

WTF?

Daymn yo... Thats some serious shit. Ouch.

I hear what you are saying there man. I just started working out seriously again and I can't throw it up like I used to. Hopefully I'll be back to my old self again in no time....

Anyway, to me, the most hurtful words are no words at all. I would rather have a guy be a dick and tell me how he really feels than to just write me off and ignore my calls.

Why the hell do some guys think that ignoring you is going to make everything ok? This $%#&*@ - a guy I used to date, of course - makes me SO mad. That's how he'd always deal with me whenever something came up that was slightly rocky, he'd just ignore me until I got over it (even if he was the source of the issue in the first place). Big fan of hanging up phones or blocking me on IM if we ever talked about something he didn't want to talk about (long distance relationships are loads of fun...). So I called it quits eventually (this was like 2 years ago), but we were really good friends for a long time before we decided to get involved so I figured after a while, I'd try to reopen the lines of communication.

This dude has a fiancee now. You'd think we could be friends again, especially since he started talking to me. It wasn't like I hunted him down, he found me. Then he decides to try to get me to become a "friend with benefits." Please. I'm not about to be the other woman. Now he refuses to talk to me. You'd think he could at least tell me why, even if it was, "You know, I can't handle being friends." That'd be FINE. At least I'd know. But when I try to talk to you to find out how you're doing after you've been talking to me for a month, don't just pretend like I suddenly don't exist!
