Last fall, the "pledge" classes were in the range of 70+. That is so HUGE! One the bright side... it would be almost impossible NOT to find people you relate to and form lasting friendships with.

70 girls in a pledge class? How would you get to know anybody in a chapter that big?

Chapters at the University of Oklahoma can be huge. I know many of the sororities on campus will pledge up to 150 girls. That is insane. The largest fraternities now have a cap of 65 guys that can be pledged. SAE - my fraternity - tries to get 50 or 55 to keep it small enough to handle. Our chapter has grown to 110 members, but some other houses now have 150 guys in them. There is no telling how many members sorority houses have on campus. It is huge here.

i go to THE greek school... washington and lee university in lexington virginia... over 75% of the student population is greek. we have 15 frats and 5 sororities... the largest frats have around 80 i believe... i think the largest are KA and SAE... there are others around the same size. the sororities are all pretty even and are all larger than most of the frats. i think a good range is 90-110. keep in mind... we have less than 2000 students. go figure.
